The New Classics

This is my first Donna Hay book, and I'm so happy to have it. The pictures themselves are a beauty to behold! I have yet to try any recipes, but am confident that they'll come out without a hitch. My only disappointment is Ms. Hay mixes metric with imperial measurements on the recipes. There is not uniformity. I certainly am able to convert, but it would have been helpful to have consistency throughout. Perhaps on the next edition?

Donna Hay creates brilliant, beautiful cookbooks full of approachable recipes that are worthy of dinner parties and The New Classics is no different. I now have all her cookbooks and love and use them annually. My only complaint is that this book is so big and heavy, it is unwieldy to use and definitely to look at in bed or on the couch.

I have several of Donna Hay's cookbooks in paperback. This and Basics of Brilliance are the first hardback books I have purchased. Donna Hay's books are some of the most beautifully photographed cookbooks I have ever seen. The recipes are not complicated and if you enjoy cooking, you will use this book. If you don't enjoy cooking, you will be inspired to try.

Beautiful! If you are a fan of Donna Hay, then you know that this book is going to be just gorgeous. It is the kidn of book you leave on the coffee table. Love it and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of beautiful food and beautiful photography. Oh and the recipes are fantastic too!

This is a great compilation of the best recipes from recent issues of the Donna Hay magazine. It's huge and as gorgeous as the magazine. If you are looking for a new "basic but not quite" cookbook, I would higly recommend this one.

I thought I was simply getting a nice looking coffee table book, but this is by far the best cook book I can ever hope to own. Extremely innovative, yet refreshingly classic.

This book is huge. It is chock full of great recipes. Each page has pictures which obscure the recipes somewhat so you have to read them closely.

If you likke to cook this is a must have!

Beautiful book, breathtaking pictures, very stylish and elegant and great as a coffee table book. But don't leave it there, use it because the recipes are incredible!! If you like modern Asian recipes, you'll find lots of those in this book!

Saw this in a holiday cottage and bought myself a copy. The recipes are based on simple and good ingredients with a twist and wonderful photos which make one want to cook them.

A must have recipe book for any enthusiastic cook. So many delicious and great recipes that are easy to follow. It's a lovely book too!
