Works wonderfully as i have to walk through a metal detector several times a day. No metal parts. Seems of good quality but ive only been using it for several weeks. It has started to remember which hole i use and the belt is starting to remember its form but looks nice and i don't see this as a problem. Ill update this review in the future if anything changes but so far so good!Be careful of the measurement. Im not sure why orif it was my fault buti have a 32 inch waist and ordered the appropriate belt size. When i got it the belt was way too small and i couldn't even latch on the first hole so i had to return it and order the next size up. Otherwise fantastic.

I have purchased several of these for my son who is allergic to metals with nickel alloys. The buckles are the weak point. They used to come with an extra buckle but the last three purchases did not.

I was just asked to take the belt off when going through the metal detector. How embarrassing. I told the guy no way, it’s a plastic belt so you do t have to take it off at the airport. He said it’s not the metal, it’s the density of the material that makes it go off. So because of this, I had to get pat down like I stole something. What a rip off.

I know longer set the metal detector off at my work when I enter my workplace. Good quality, metal-free belt does the job as advertised. What a relief!

This is an EXCELLENT belt for those of us heavier men with an allergy to Nickel. HOWEVER, plan on getting a backup belt. Because the most likely thing to fail within a year is the prong, as seen in the pic. That one lasted just under 300 days until the prong failed. Get yourself two of them at a time so you have an extra when that prong breaks.

Update Winter 2024: Had a buckle break but the folks at Itay hooked it up with a replacement. I was going to buy another one anyway… this belt is exactly what you’re looking for if every other belt gives you skin issues. Not having to take it off for metal detectors is a bonus. Super happy.Original review:On one hand, the leather is pretty damn decent and the metal-free buckle solves the skin irritation issue. Even the Zero Nickel belts were still causing issues. These are great.On the other hand, they haven’t gotten the compound quite right for the buckle. They’re too brittle and the two that I’ve bought so far have both broken at the pin (term?) that goes through the hole in the belt. Both times, it snapped from every day use… I’m not wearing it ridiculously tight or throwing it around by any means. It’s just too brittle. Both lasted less than 6 months. The leather belt itself still looks brand new.At the end of the day, I haven’t found a better alternative. We’re going to try a 3rd one, cross our fingers I get more than 6 months out of it, and if not, I’m just going start my own belt brand and start importing these things myself with a longer warranty.

while seemingly well built, it was advertised as a product that would not trigger security at the airport. the first two trips i made through TSA with the belt, i set off the alarm. i had to go back through screen with the belt off. the quality seems good, but it failed the primary reason i baought the product. it is also quite thick

This belt is great for those with metal sensitivity. Be warned that the plastic components are exceedingly fragile and can snap by accidentally stepping on them, tightening the belt, and other more innocuous movements. I wish the buckle component was much stronger.

Fits my husband perfectly and doesn’t bother his skin!

This is a sturdy comfortable belt for anyone with metal allergy causing a stomach rash! My son loves it. Also easier to clean than leather.

Très bon palliatif contre les allergies au nickel puisque la boucle est en plastique. Au bout de 2 semaines d'utilisation quotidienne, la boucle n'a pas encore cassée. Le plastique a l'air résistant. Mon conjoint peut maintenant porter une ceinture tous les jours alors qu'avant, il devait attendre 1 semaine entre chaque utilisation à cause de son allergie au nickel qui lui causait l'apparition de petits boutons rouges au niveau de la boucle. Le cuir de la ceinture a l'air d'assez bonne qualité aussi.
