Plastic breaks under any kind of pressure
Very cheap material. You have to manipulate it a lot. And any kind of sharp bend at all of any kind as soon as acetone hits it it breaks. Even after applying heat. Then you have to go back and make a putty from shavings to fill in the crack and it's a pain i* t** a**

Breaks when you try to bend it
This version is not only cheaper monetarily, it is cheaper in construction. I tried three different strips to bind a home-built Telecaster and all three of them broke (in different spots each time). This is a different plastic composition and is not suitable for tighter bends. Spend the extra money (a little over $5 here on Amazon) for the single pack Musiclily ABS plastic binding - it will bend the way you need it to. This version is only going to do very broad bends successfully. Be warned...

Becomes brittle when heated
I had to use a heat gun to form it. I used lacquer thinner but the plastic broke into pieces when I flooded the seams. I have purchased other bindings from this manufacturer before with no issues.
