this is such a sweet little Bible that I purchased for my great niece who is seven months old now even though she cannot read the Bible yet, she will be able to someday and she will have the perfect Bible to start her off on her journey with God it’s her very own Bible that will be perfect for her to understand -as a little girl.! There isn’t a more perfect gift for a child than to give them their very own first Bible I gave her many her gifts but this is by far the best

Beautiful bible.

The bible has a nice cover and the silver edged pages make it gift quality. However, for all practical purposes, the ridiculous baby drawings inside are a bad idea. By the time the baby is old enough to read a bible.. like 7 or 8.. they don't want baby drawings in their book.. they don't want to be considered a baby at that age. Learning to read is a rite of passage. This is so frustrating. I wish they would replace the baby drawings with something useful, like a map, or concordance. I can't find a normal NIV or NKJV with the pretty outside and useful stuff inside. all the other NIVs here have a font size that is unacceptablly small. This bible has a font size that is fine, not too big not too small. The 9 point font is quite nice. But the other NIVs have all the good stuff inside - cross reference or mini concordance, color maps and absence of baby drawings.
