Brough Superior: The Complete Story

My initial interest in Brough Superior bikes was sparked by T.E. Lawrence; better known as "Lawrence of Arabia", who, died after crashing his beloved SS100 in1935. There is a chapter devoted to him, that is informative; but its only a foot note in comparison with the rest of the book, which is a superb history of these extraordinary machines and the equally extraordinary men that engineered,built, rode and raced them.There are plenty of engine illustrations to look at.Just get the book and see what these genius Brits were doing in the 1920's

Excellent piece of unique history. Great reading for motorcycle lovers and history lovers alike.

If you want to know anything about the Brough Motorcycles, ( the Brough Cars too) this is an excellent book.

Brough Superior is generally reqarded as the Rolls-Royce of motorcycles, yet there has been only one history book written on this Nottingham based manufacturer -- back in 1964 and updated twice, the last time in 1984. That first effort was excellent for the day, but there has been so very much more history uncovered in more recent years, and a lot of Brough Superiors have since been superbly restored. This wonderful new Brough Superior history is loaded with new detail and a lot of really nice colour photos. This is likely to be one of those books which will increase significalty in value after the print run is sold. There is not enough interest in these sorts of books for subsequent print runs, so my advice is to buy a copy while you can. Thank you, Peter Miller, for authoring this obvious labour of love. I am proud to have this book in my personal library.

A brilliant book for anybody with an interest in Brough Superior motorcycles. This book is packed with lots of detail and would make an excellent gift for anybody who likes these iconic British motorcycles. Highly recommended.
