This dispenser is a great solution. Very functional and heavy duty. I gave it 5 stars because I’m a "form follows function" kinda person. And that’s good for Scotch because the color and form of this thing just makes me laugh. Scotch must have had one of their older engineers pick the color.You remember that old rotary phone your grandmother had back in the 70’s? You know, the one that was so heavy duty you could use it to crush bone? Look at this thing. It’s the same beige and the same gloss!Come to think of it, that must be what this is. They melted down grandma’s old phone and formed it into this tape dispenser! What a great recycling idea, Scotch!

This dispenser was exactly like the one I had in both of my libraries...and now I have it in the latest library! It’s identical to the ones from over a decade ago and just a heavy, making it easy to pull/tear tape when labeling books!

I send a lot of packages. This is a must have for me. It is pricey, however, I feel like it has paid for itself already. I used to have a difficult time wrapping packages with a hand held tape dispenser. Using this is so much easier. No wasted tape. Best thing I have bought in a long time. A wish I had bought this a long time ago.

This is a life saver! I know it’s expensive but it is worth every penny. My mom has had hers since she started a gift basket business back in the 80’s. I have loved hers for wrapping presents, crafts, etc. It wasn’t until I was moving and doing all this packing that I broke down and bought one. Those stupid hand ones are horrible and I got so sick of having to find where the tape left off and then grab a pair of scissors etc. It also helps hold down the tops of the box flaps because it’s so heavy!

There's no doubt that this is one of the best dispensers of its kind. The weight is excellent, and I can confirm you can pull the tape with one hand where the dispenser will stay in place as long as you use the higher quality tape that glides off the roll. There are tape rolls where the tape does not glide apart easily, and for those, you would need two hands, one to keep the dispenser from moving. (By the way, I selected "Scotch Box Lock" tape rolls to use in this dispenser.)I deducted a star because it's overly priced at its current approx. $100 price.

I bought this dispenser because I often need to have packaging tape at my finger tip. I hate those hand-held dispensers as they are a pain to use and it's easy to scrape your fingers on the knife. This dispenser, though designed for two thin rolls, works perfectly for 2 inch package tape. It is heavy and stays put while operating with one hand. While I'm not using it as intended, it sure works great for what I do use it for.

I have been fighting to get packing tape off the roll for years. We had one of these in the office so I knew the difference. I finally just bought one for home. Wow what a difference. Works like a charm.

Would really recommend this. It will last me a lifetime and free up so much time for me. It is well made and I love how you have put two rolls of sellotape in the dispenser. Would highly recommend. Money well spent.

je me battais avesc un pistolet d'emballage pour la largeur de 5 cm et là, quel plaisir, je m'en sert tous les jours - reste à trouver la bonne qualité de scotch que mérite ce dévidoir parfait - par contre, vu son poids, mieux vaut lui trouver une place définitive pour ne pas avoir à le déplacer :)
