Roush421834 2015 2017 Mustang GT 5.0 Axle Exhaust

This is an AMAZING muffler kit. I installed it myself in less than 90 minutes, which included gathering the tools needed and getting my '15 Mustang GT up onto a couple jack stands. I've never cut into an exhaust system before, but have used a reciprocating saw on numerous occasions, so it wasn't that difficult at all to prep the stock pipes. Just follow the instructions correctly and you'll be fine. There are a handful of videos out there on the web as well if you'd like to see someone else install the kit first before you do it.Roush did a fantastic job designing these and they fit perfectly. If I had to guess, I'd say that both of the mufflers weigh around as much as one stock muffler, so you're actually shaving several pounds off the car too. The chrome tips look great sticking out of the back of the 'Stang and are very stylish. The sound produced by these mufflers is GLORIOUS. My car is otherwise 100% stock (for now) and I am more than pleased with the tone. My car is a daily driver, so I wanted a strong, deep sound that would not sound obnoxious at idle or while cruising. The rumble from inside the car is very satisfying, especially under hard acceleration. I decided on an axle-back kit as opposed to a full cat-back system because I didn't want anything too extreme. If I ever change my mind down the road, all I need to do is swap out the stock resonator with an aftermarket H-pipe or X-pipe. For now, I'm really happy with how the car sounds.Finally, I have to say that Yates Performance has ridiculously fast shipping. I ordered this kit on a Thursday night and it was delivered to me by Saturday afternoon. I do live in a state right next to them (they're based in Virgina), but even so, receiving an order less than 48 hours after placing it is amazing. Great mufflers, easy installation, fast shipping. I was looking around for a muffler system that I could use for my 2015 Stang GT. I had been searching different options that wouldn't be too extreme in noise and cost and low & behold it was Roush. I read a couple of reviews that explained how simple the conversion was and found that it was just that easy. A couple of hours max and the job was completed. It seemed too simple for the Glorious result I received. It changed the whole personality of my car. This the way it should have sounded from the factory. I have chosen to keep the resonator for the time being because of the satisfaction I've gotten from the voice the mufflers have given my ride. They are half the weight of the OEM and look so natural for this build. I don't work very far from home but now I stretch my ride time just to hear my car run. I'm sure I will get used to the sound eventually but I hope not too soon. Not as loud as I imagined a perfect compliment to my car's personality-THEHARE

Great product! Many helpful YouTube videos online, cheaper price than AM or LMR, plus Amazons easy return policy. All the parts were inside. Delivery in less than a week. I hope to post a video to Amazon sound in order for you to hear that sound.

Nice exhaust but tip with blows y both tips

Mufflers are exactly what I was looking for! Installation was easy, and everything fit perfectly. The tips look great, and the sound is awesome. I was looking for something that I could hear and feel. These mufflers with the stock resonator are quiet when cruising and on the highway. When I step on the gas they just open up and the exhaust howls! They scream all the way to the redline! I don't care about my music anymore because the sound of the exhaust has me driving with the windows down and ripping through the gears!

It's been a week since I had this roush axle back exhaust in my 2017 mustang gt California special... The sound is amazing, way better then stock and it's the way it should of sounded from the factory for a v8. I had it professionally installed at a muffler shop. The right tip sags a bit more then the left one, about half an inch. He states that these never fit 100% even if it's from Roush... I thought he was crazy lol. I'll have him adjust and fix it next time I go in when I get my Roush X pipe... Yes I want it louder...

This Roush axle back really makes my 2016 Mustang GT sound like it looks. The installation is easy and simple. I had mine done in a muffle shop just for convenience, but if you can get under the car and have a few tools it is a fairly easy home project. The sound is great but personally if it were just a little quieter I would like it better; However, it is a great addition to the mustang and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a really stud sounding Mustang GT..Go Roush you cant go wrong.
