Junk! Will not hold vacuum! TWICE now!
This is a replacement unit. The first unit would not hold vacuum. This one doesn't either!Very poor quality. Don't waste your time and money.I bought a more expensive model from Amazon. Wish I'd done it in the first place!

Easy to use vacuum sealer
This is my first vacuum sealer and I am impressed what this little machine can do. I had a bunch of steak need to seal and freeze . The vacuum sealer did the job and the process is easy and fast, and it is very obvious if the seal hadn't formed. You need to give the sealer 40 seconds in between seals, which isn't an issue considering you have to load the bags. I wanted a sealer primarily for cooking sous vide, and I didn't want to spend a fortune or get a giant one. This little guy is great. It reminds me of the size of the shredder part of a paper shredder. Easy to carry up from the basement storage and easy to set up. This sealer does everything I want it to do.

Very dissapointed
I bought the vacuum sealer Machine , sold by Guangzhou Jiazhi Trading The Specifications showsRated voltage: 100V/220V ACI bought it to be used at 220v . The first time I used it , the device burned. I looked at the label and it shows only 110v.

It sucks (that's a good thing)
The vacuum sealer has a small footprint. It works well. I tried it with one of the small vacuum bags it comes with (it comes with 5 small ones and 5 big ones). It takes some force to close the machine - you need to push down hard with both hands until it clicks closed. Once it is closed, it's shut tight, which is important give the suction that it uses to vacuum the bags. It also has a separate button to seal a bag without vacuuming it. The sealer part seals the bag without the plastic getting stuck to the machine.

My first vacuum sealer
Ok. This is the first vacuum sealer I've ever owned. So I had a learning curve at first. But now I'm totally thrilled with it. At first, I was placing the bags incorrectly and was disappointed that the vacuum wasn't good enough. Then I discovered that I had to place both sides of the bag under the little clips. I place my bags bumpy side down (don't know if this matters or not). After that I had a few successful vacuum seals. Then I inadvertently covered the inlet port with the bag. Disappointment again. So it appears that when I do my part correctly, the machine works like a charm. I couldn't be more pleased. Especially considering the price. It does seem that the 8" bags would be the maximum fit for vacuum and seal. But that's okay with me for now. I wanted this to preserve my dehydrated produce for longer shelf (freezer) life and to conserve space. So I'm pleased with this gadget!

These work great with my FoodSaver as well as a generic sealer I have
These are much cheaper than FoodSaver's bags AND don't come with the terrible customer service + snarky replies to questions that you get with FoodSaver! The sealing was perfect and I can't think of a single reason not to buy these again and again. This is my second order of this type of bag; the first order was used up with chicken quarters that went into the freezer and every time I took one out, the seal was still in tact just fine.

Good bags
This review is for the 2 rolls of vacuum sealer bags only; I used them with my vacuum sealer of a different brand. These are nice bags that are pretty straightforward to use - they are pre-sealed on 2 sides, you cut the length of bag you need, and just seal the top and bottom to form your closed bag.To test the bags, I sealed an additional line down the middle of the bag to get 2 separate pockets, hoping to be able to seal and freeze food in single-use portions. This worked well; check out my photos. I was able to cut one of those pockets open while the other side remained tightly sealed. I was also able to then reseal that opened side. So I think you'll be able to customize bags any way you want from the roll.Since I've only had these for a week, I can't say how well they hold up to freezing, although I assume they will be fine because the item description in the listing did mention that, and the bags are of a good thickness. So I'll give this a 5-star rating as is but will adjust if they turn out to not be freezer-safe.

Every Busy Kitchen Needs One
It was super easy to use. It came with a few half sealed bags and a roll of empty open bags. It took like 10 seconds to make a seal on the bag, and another 10-15 seconds to vacuum seal the other end. Overall a great product for the price.
