Texture and thickness of a polythene back you get in the supermarket to put fruit and veg in. I used it to cover my outdoor furniture with the cushions etc all in place and taped it all tight around and over the furniture, then put the proper covers over the top. I did this to stop damp, insects, dust blowing under the cover etc. I would say it would be good to cover furniture when doing diy or decorating but some tape to stop it moving about as it like to move easily if you go near it and waft past or catch on it, then it will tug away from it's position. if you want to walk on it, then I would say it is flimsy and catch your feet like a trip hazard and tear it, but you could lay it down below the material dust sheets, so blobs of paint don't get walked through the material to the flooring underneath.

A little too thin and flimsy for me so hard to keep down on the floor. OK to cover furniture.

Ideal, probably pretty good as a dust sheet but I wanted it to cover concrete so it didn’t dry too quick. Easy to roll off, cut and open up. Laid on top of concrete and still there five days later. Showing no sign of damage even after torrential downpour.

This did not exist when I went to House Painters college over 40 years ago. We had to use heavy cotton twill sheets and they are good for splashes, but not spills. This is ideal to cover everything off the ground. Lightweight and you can still see what is underneath it. One big word of caution. Using this on the floor is an absolute no no. It is slippy and would be an accident waiting to happen.

Very strong & reliable, I was able to walk & use a chair to stand on top of this for my spray painting project in the room and to my surprise it was able to stay intact with all the moment and moving around of the chair and some lightweight tools, i would not hesitate in recommending it, its value for more along with good quality

Removing plaster from walls and grout from tiles, dust everywhere. Except used this to block doorways to unaffected rooms. Impressed by lightweight, so can almost stay up like cling film, but I put masking tape all round. This is bit impressed me, plastic strong enough to allow for tape pulling and even being removed and stuck back if you are gentle. Way better than thinner products I've tried before. It's still thin, but doesn't tear for touching something.
