excellent!
I use these day and night with micellar water to cleanse my face and find them easy to use and wash. The white side is soft for normal use and the black side is rough for a facial scrub once a week (using my normal cleanser). They really are good - and easy to wash. I keep the unused pads in a box (not supplied - perhaps something to think of in the future, please!) and put used in the supplied bags, ready for washing with my towels (I am not at all sure they clean properly if you put more than 10 in a bag because they cannot move around, which is why I am glad there are 2 bags!). I start them off in the tumble dryer with the aforementioned towels and then finish them on the windowsill.I love these - especially that they have a "hard" and a "soft" side. Fully recommend!

Eco-friendly happiness! Couldn’t recommend enough!
Decided to buy some of these as I was fed up with continually adding to landfill waste with regular cotton wool pads; I was especially motivated to get some when I realised even the plastic packaging used isn’t usually recyclable on the regular pads!I love using these - they are tougher than cotton wool pads and don’t break up leaving streaks of cotton wool on your face. I am able to apply toner properly and remove makeup effectively with these! They do add a little note with the packaging suggesting wetting the pads before adding your solution to them - you do have to do this or your solution will not be able to absorb into the pad (it will just run off the surface) - but I’d say this tiny inconvenience is the only issue with them. I love knowing I’ll never run out of cotton pads by having these, and washing them/storing them is easy. You get two bags with the pads, one for storage of clean and dry ones and one where you can put the used ones. You just put them in the wash with other laundry at 40 degrees (make sure they’re in their bag or they’ll be all through your washing) and personally I lay them out on my radiator to dry off and I haven’t had any problems:). The black side is much more cushioned than the cream side but it’s really nice to have a proper difference in textures to be able to use them for different things. I wish I’d bought these sooner! If you prefer a larger cotton wool pad to remove makeup etc with you may find these a little tricky, but it just means you use 2 rather than 1 for the same job - either way these mean you aren’t adding to landfill waste which will hopefully help you decide! One side being black in colour is also a really good idea as my mum bought some from another company which are just cream both sides and hers have stained a little. Thank you for making alternatives like these to help people become more eco friendly!

Saving the planet
You get a lot of ‘pads’ for not much money and they do get all the dirt off my face quite well. They can be quite rough to my sensitive skin and don’t seem to hold much micellar water. (They are basically mini flannels) I got 2 net bags where I put the dirty ones then put the bag in the washing machine to clean them.

Possibly my favourite amazon purchase to date.
I had these on my wish list for a while. I go through a lot of cotton pads but I am also environmentally conscious so when I found out about these I had to have them. I’ve had them around two months now and I love them so much I’ve also bought them for my mum and my friend. They work just as well as cotton pads, it’s easy to keep a clean pile constantly just fling the bag of dirty ones in the wash even if it’s not full (actually found I ran out of normal cotton pads more often) and they look cute. Just watch if you use anything with a water consistency - pour on slowly as takes slightly longer to settle on material then regular cotton pads. Not an issue though, I actually prefer it as I feel less of it is getting sucked into padOnly gripes are I wish the wash bag and clean bag were different colours as sometimes I have to go through and figure out what ones are dirty or not. Also some of them have already stained but to be honest I don’t care. It’s a small price to pay for something that is stopping a lot of unnecessary waste.

Fabulous ultra soft bamboo pads #savetheplanet
This product is fantastic! It comes with 16 ultra soft pads. The duo colour is great for removing mascara and eye makeup and then finishing off with the white side as a toner or final cleanse after removing the gunk! The two organic cotton laundry bags are so useful, one to store clean pads and one to throw dirty ones in the wash. I launder using the Ecoegg and for me the black residue didn't completely come off the white side of the lads however it still felt very clean and will become 'stained' again in any case so I didn't mind. Additionaly fantastic packaging - simply recycled paper folded into a neat box with all the instructions printed on it. So refreshing as many products claiming to be eco friendly do not actually package in an eco-friendly way.Excellent customer service, print arrival and very quick response to any queries. Please note it is important to slightly wet the pads before applying makeup remover product - as is clearly stated on packaging. I use micellar water to remove my makeup and with the ultra soft bamboo pads it is so much more soothing on my eyes than regular single cotton pads :)

They roll up into little balls when you wash them
I love the idea, but in practice they don't work too well after the first use. I mostly use them to apply toner, but I did use them to remove make-up once and those particular pads have never come clean. Regardless of how clean they are after washing, they're curled up on themselves so you have to spend an age trying to flatten each one out. They also take days (even in a heated house) to dry.

Lovely and soft on your face and the environment
I bought these in a bid to become more eco friendly in our home. We have a big family and I feel with them comes big waste. I purchased them without doing muvh research but im pretty impressed. They're lovely and soft and the extra bag is really great so so every couple of days I can put the used ones in the wash while my clean ones are still bagged up. My only reason for not giving them full 5 stars was that once they've been washed they curl up and don't seem to go flat again, I'm sure you could iron them but to me that defeats the object of going more eco. You also have to use a little more product than you would on a normal cotton pad, but other than that I'm really impressed and will be converting more things to reusable from now on
