A lot cheaper than the pool guy was going to charge for the cover and installation. You’ll need someone to help with getting it lined up to see where you need to drill for the grommets. You will need a hammer. Buy a good one. Good investment considering the money you are saving DIY. Buy diamond tipped bits. My holes were bigger than they were supposed to be even though I had the right size bit. The grommets don’t need to fit tight anyway. No pressure pulling up on them. I am impressed with the thickness. Should last a while.

Do not purchase. When I went to put the cover on, it turns out it does not fit a 20x40 ft pool as per the description. Unfortunately for me, the amazon return window had lapsed (bought it near the end of the 2019 pool season in August and didn’t open it until I needed it in September). I got it all set up with attaching the springs and put on 90% when it would not reach the other end of my pool. Pulled out the tape measure and low and behold the 40 ft end (description say it should be 42’ for overlap) was only 39 ft! After 2+ hours at this point I gave up and let it ride for the winter as I did not have another $800 to spend. To top everything off, I just opened my pool and when I took the cover off, the mesh separated from the lining. Go figure.

We just put the cover on a few days ago and it works great. Our pool company wanted $2700 for a pool cover and we figured this would work instead. It is well constructed... heavy stitching and lots of straps with the brass plug things included. There us a mesh piece in the center that will drain the water through into the pool. We are very happy we bought it.

Cover was installed per suppliers instructions. Failed first winter it was used. Split at the seams. My only option was to pay the shipping to return the cover to the supplier and receive a replacement. I will try the replacement cover this winter. Be aware that if there are any issues with this cover after the Amazon return period (even if it is a manufacturers defect) you are responsible for the cost of shipping the defective cover back to the supplier. The shipping costs can be quite costly depending on your location.

The cover was as described in the add. The color was beutiful. Installation was easy once reading the install directions. Overall the warrantee guarantees the cover, so this is just season 1 of a cover that will have to be reused each year. As far as things go we will have to see how it holds up over time. The warrantee is as good comparable to the name brand tension covers.

This is a very well made cover. It looks great. It took about three hours for my brothers and nephew to install it.

Had to redrill holes for anchors since pattern was different from old cover 25years old. Over all it works. I haven't walked on it. Its looks great.

Nice safety cover. Does what I need it to do . The strap system works ok. By ratchet straps would be a great addition. . Quality product affordable Price ..
