The Irish Fairy Door Company FD554221 Magical, Green

Underwhelming. There could be a plethora of improvements to this door. A light could be installed and parents could have a secret remote to turn off and on a light in the window to show the fair is “inside”. The stepping stones should be made out of REAL stone and should have some sort of backing or on a bigger piece so they don’t just sit on a surface and move around like slippery bingo chips. The door doesn’t even come with any kind of attachment piece. Not sure how or why they don’t include any kind of attachment device-even a 3M COMMAND strip would be useful.Your child would have to have an extreme imagination to think a small wood door with bingo chips and a key in a bottle for $15 has a fairy that comes from the fairy world. I think of you are a crafter or a crafty type person, you could make something way better than this kit. The only reaso. This got 3 stars is because my daughter at least likes it and the book that acccompanies it is cute.

I read about fairy doors awhile back. It really seems like a great way to get your child's imagination stirred up! There is only two things I would change about this. The first one is that the door would open. Or even just move a little. My seven year old doesn't believe for a second that the tooth fairy will use the door. Also have the magic key be able to actually go in the keyhole. I appreciate the craftsmanship. Just a few tweeks needed in my book!

While this product appears to be adorable, I have attempted twice now to purchase and both times the product has arrived with the pink flower broken off the door. The first time, one of the stepping stones had come unglued and was rolling around the package. The second time (which arrived just today) everything in the entire package (flower, all three stepping stones) except the key had come unglued.Take note-if you are purchasing during this holiday season as a gift, it could arrive to you in a shambles and certainly not fit for gift giving...I tried twice.

My daughter's LOVE the IRISH Fairy Door Company's Fairy Door! It is adorable! You receive a tiny key & note paper- they also have a really cute website with contests & videos that are really magical! The door itself is very sturdy an high quality! I've seen other Fairy doors that are not even close to the quality that the Irish Fairy Door Company offers- Great Company & Fairy Door!

Beautiful!! This is a wonderful way to bring a huge outlet of imagination in such a small package! I bought this for my step daughter's room to give her a magical portal into her own creativity! I've purchased a few Cicely Mary Barker books to help fuel her imagination and use this as a way to encourage reading by picking up a few of the Fairy Bell Sister's books. Its been great bonding with her over this secret fairy world and reading together. The door is so much fun and looks adorable ! Exactly what I had been looking for !

This door fell apart the first week after my child received it for Christmas. It was very disappointing. It started, when we received it, the flower had already fallen off, then the side piece fell off. There wasn't enough time before christmas to exchanged it so we just glued it together and hoped for the best.

All the flowers on the doors has fallen off and the foot pads had unstuck and rattling around the box. I am sure this was just part of the delivery process and not the TIFDC's fault! that said i did have to stick the flowers back on and retrieve the foot stools! no worries but maybe a thought for stronger glue and sticky pads for foot pads!!

Please excuse the picture quality and my nieces arm that snuck in! These little fairy doors are amazing!!!! I posted the picture to give everyone an idea exactly how big you could go with these fairy doors! My nieces are obsessed! Great buy!
