| Warranty Description | The equipment offered hereby is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of its shipment from the point of manufacture for a period of 365 days from the original date of purchase. Aqua Tally will repair or replace any part of the equipment that fails to conform to this warranty, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. The original purchaser must promptly return any component(s) needing repair to Aqua Tally, together with proof of purchase. Excellent lap counter!
This is the excellent product! Lightweight and very functional. Beads are large enough, and they are moved along the rod very smoothly. Two color beads add functionality for counting laps by 5x. And yes, I do not like a battery-backed finger electronic counters which work until a battery is dead.In addition, Aqua Tally managed my lost package in a timely manner immediately sending a replacement - thank you, Angie!Highly recommend this lap counter from Agua Tally!

Leaves me free to focus on form
I love that this counter takes all the mental energy of keeping track of laps/time off my mind leaving me free to get in the zone and really focus on form and performance.It does take a beat to move the bead at the end of the lap, and probably wouldn’t work for people doing racing/flip turns. I took advice from another reviewer and put a thin strip of electrical tape on the metal rod to add a little friction and keep the beads from floating out of place. With that tweak it is great. My swims seem to fly by and I’ve improved my stroke efficiency. Never thought I could stand the boredom of more than 2 miles in a pool but am now up to 3.

Just What I Needed
I just got back with lap swimming after a 10-year break and can no longer read my watch without glasses. So, a sports watch for counting laps just doesn't work for me anymore. This lap counter was exactly what I needed. It adheres well to the side of pool and frees me from counting laps in my head, giving me a stress-free swim. Thank you so much to the manufacturer!!

Perfect in it's simplicity
I wanted something to use to count laps when I swim. I didn't want something technical that required batteries or died if it fell in the water or got wet. This is perfect. Just slide the bead at the end of each lap. The beads are a bit smaller than I would like but I have gotten use to it now. This is the second one I bought as I dropped the first one and stepped on it bending the metal rod. While it was easy to fix I failed to notice one of the beads dropped off. My fault so I bought a new one. Love this simple solution!

Perfect
Worked perfect. I like the size. It was easy to carry in my swimming bag. Well made.

Unfortunately beads float, must leave water to move beads
The unit works as described, but the beads float, so I am unable to stick this to the wall under water. This means I have to break my flow to register my lap. For some, this won't be a big deal, but for me, this tinkers with my heart rate, meaning I end up slowing down, and reducing performance.Ie., for non-speed-sensitive applications this is good, but if you are looking to stay "noe-to-the-grind" in the water, something different is needed. I will return to my watch for now (even though it's hard to see, and I often end up resetting it).

Feels overpriced, but it is so worth it!
This was much smaller than I expected it to be, and it feels like a fairly cheap piece of plastic, but I find it actually fits my needs perfectly. It’s a brilliant idea for someone like me who cannot count laps! It helps motivate me to swim more laps, and it’s very easy to carry to/from the pool. The suction cups work well where I swim because it can sit horizontally on tile.
