Far better than most speaker systems
Works very well as a general use speaker to save space. Far better than most speaker systems. Not a high end speaker set-up like a Bose. Great buy for the price. I have been using this item for 3 months with no problems.

Pretty quiet, cheap
You get what you paid for. Pretty quiet, cheap, plastic-y speaker, and the instructions are in Chinese/Japanese/Korean (???).Plus, it was late for two days. It's not the worst speaker ever, but it's sure not the best.

Looks nice but weak and too large for the size
Really quiet speakers. I should have known from the amp rating but there's little point to the size of this thing given how small and weak the drivers are. Not worth it. 3 stars because it looks nice aesthetically and is a single piece, which is an advantage to me over having to place two different speakers.

nice but if you have a distance to travel to the back of your PC, figure in the price of three exention cables...
"Britz Computer 2ch Stereo Soundbar Speaker Ba-r9 USB Power 3.5mm 6w Headphone Jack Microphone Jack"For the price can't beat it. I don't need much for speakers on my desk. For the most part I don't need any. But on occasion I do need to hear system sounds, and can't spare the room on my desk for box speakers.I had a monitor with speakers built in.. worked good enough. But just went to add more monitors, and changed brands... no speaker built in.This fit great under my center monitor.Looks well made, feels well made, I really like the volume knob right there up front. The cables are a bit short in my opinion, I think most folks will need extension cables for all three connections. So you may want to plan on it.2 x : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZQWI6C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s001 x : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NH11R3I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00Each at 3feet was great for me. I like clean routed, no guitar string runs.Adding the extensions make no difference in operation to the sound bar.If your like me, and have what seems to be a ton of extra modern cellphone chargers that have a basic USB connector to plug the charging cable into, I wound up putting the power for my monitors and one of my chargers on a switched outlet strip, plugged the USB cable for the sound bar into the charger, and can just hit the switch and kill my monitors and sound after I lock my workstation.I'm using a 1amp charger/power supply, but I'm not looking to blast distorted music. If you do this and looking to play music loudly, look for a charger with a 2amp or greater output.(more so, if you want to play music for real, get a real 120Vac powered PC speaker system)I'm not looking to play music through this sound bar.Don't expect any real fidelity, it's just a sound bar with 2 small speakers. To answer some of the questions I've seen in the Q&A or reviews.....You have to decide which "volume control " your gonna use as your main.. so if like me, you like the knob on the sound bar, turn up the volume on the PC's main volume control, usually found on the bottom right notification tray. If you want to use your PC's volume control on the notification tray, than make sure you've turned up the sound bar's knob enough. The designer offered nice easy access to front panel audio jacks, so if you want to plug in headphones or a mic, No reaching for the PC jacks...(Very nice added feature for the price. )Which again, brings me to, seems some one was thinking this would be a good distance from the PC, so why the "shortish" wires????So the length of the wires makes me remove 1 star.Adding a USB port would have been a real nice icing on the cake for the price or 5 bux more. But no loss of stars for that, cause at the price point, I don't think it's a deal breaker.I like the power switch, cause most of the time I don't want audio, and no fussing with the volume level.. on or off..I like it..but..REALLY need to make the wires longer (I found out after the fact, and had to buy extensions, two stereo 3.5mm and USB - a little annoying.) .A nice adder would be a USB port, but not a deal breaker.

Better sound out of a tin can : (
I will be honest, I waited till I had got another sound bar before I would do this review. I wanted to make sure I had a sound reference to this sound bar before I made a peep about quality. This was my second sound bar and I just received the third one today. My first sound bar was on my other monitor and it went to the wife when she got that monitor. I got a new monitor and it needed a new sound bar to go with it. I really liked the first sound bar but it simply would not fit the new monitor so I went shopping and found this. It seemed to have mixed reviews but I thought I would take a chance. I paid for 2 day shipping and got it quick. Now visually it looks nice and was just what I was looking for so it seemed till I hooked it up and turned it on.Now I have a pair of Sony MDR V600 headphones and even when sitting on the rack they sound better than this speaker bar. It has almost no volume at all. And what sound it has is so tinny and hollow. I can't imagine that these ever had much real world testing before they went to final development. Quite simply the worst sounding speakers I have ever heard. Now compare that to the ones I just got"GOgroove UBR USB Computer Soundbar Speaker" and it does not even compare. The new Gogroove speaker bar has full sound that is not tinny or hollow at all. Don't get me wrong, it's not Bose or anything but for the money it was a much better speaker bar and will fill the bill for speaker sound for me. It's range is much wider and has some decent mid bass to it. I have a external sub woofer and that fills the real lows these speakers cannot replicate and simply are not designed to reproduce. In the end I sent these things back the very next day and after getting my refund I purchased the Gogroove set. So if your looking for a good speaker bar for your computer and want half way decent sound then save your self the heart ache of these and get some that will fit the bill for decent sound. If your looking for audiophile sound then I seriously don't thing any computer sound bar will fit that bill and you need to look elsewhere.

nice
compact and usb powered is key here. The fact i have output jacks for mic and headphones in the front is great along with the power and volume button as opposed to other units on the side. Really like this setup and don't be fooled by others, they are all 2 channel at at 5v you will be maybe 4W. The sound quality is perfectly fine for a quite room, i wouldn't suggest replacing bigger speakers with these if you want them to be max volume they will not make you happy compared to quality high wattage speakers but for daily use they are perfect.

So much more convenient than a computer speaker system, without that much worse sound
Once I moved to a sit-stand desk, a computer speaker system became too unwieldy. This fits well under my monitor, provides good, though not great, sound, has convenient jacks for headphones, and is easy to reach the volume knob.
