Q: Who has used this door in a cold winter climate? I am in Denver and want something effective in our winter months.

I live in FL and while it is not cold here, it IS mega hot and we get the tropical storm level winds. My door has held up against the worst storm and has never blown open or let rain in. Since it performs so well in the extreme heat, I would assume it would also perform well in extreme cold. I'm interested in moving to CO, so update us all on the winter performance, please!

(From the manufacturer’s site) The sizes of the flaps are: Small-6"w x 11"h Step over range 3"-5" Medium-8"w x 15"h Step over range 3"-7" Large-10"w x 19"h Step over range 3”-9" XLarge-12"w x 23"h Step over range 3"-11" Measuring your pet: To determine the height you need: Measure your pet from the ground to the highest point of the back. Make sure that they will be able to step through the flap when it is placed so that the top is at least 1" above that highest point of the back. (Flap height + step over height = top of flap.) To determine the width, do not measure your pet. Instead, open your sliding glass door 6", 8", 10", or 12" to determine the narrowest that they can fit through.

Q: Hello ! My inside track is 81". Would this door be a good fit for my sliding door...?

This panel has a maximum height of 80.25", however there is a channel in the top where you can actually slip in a piece of wood to make up for the small wiggle room.
