Great for stopping the cat litter going all over the floor! Great size, durable and great value for money!

It arrived folded up of course, and I’ve tried various methods of trying to get it to lie flat.I think the only thing that is going to work is to glue it to a sheet of wood.It does catch the litter well, just a shame it isn’t flat.

I like this so much I bought a 2nd one. It’s surprisingly waterproof so if my cat has an accident I can just pick up the mat and wash it. Dries within a day. Disposing of the litter is very easy. Just pour in the bin.

We use the catsan cat littler for our two cats, they fling the stuff everywhere and I thought this May might help trap it as they come out and prevent us from having it everywhere. Previously we had a mat that had a lip on the edge of it. It worked well to keep it all in that general area but still needed addressing.I had high hopes for this but feel quite let down. There’s more cat litter further out now than ever before. The cat litter mostly sits on top of it and doesn’t go in the little cracks. The holes are odd, they are tapered inwards slightly, meaning the cat litter we use goes in and gets stuck in the hole so when you go to tip it out it’s stuck and you have to force it through with your fingers. Also because there’s no edge on the top sometimes I lift it up and the cat litter just falls off the side.The cats don’t seem to like it, the mat is quite thick and firm and they put their feet on it and don’t seem to like the pressure they get back which I don’t think is helping.

Before I bought it I was a little concerned as some reviews mention about it coming folded in half which was then causing it to have a "permanent fold" and not lay flat due to it but I gave it a chance and purchased it and how glad am I that I did as it is amazing.I bought this as my cat unfortunately started tending to pee on the edge of the litter tray and not aiming properly which meant there would occasionally be pee outside the tray needing to be cleaned so I was looking for a mat that I would put under the tray to "collect" this pee and make it easier to clean if it were to happen.This has worked wonders for that, the material is liquid resistant and slightly absorbant to a degree but it won't seep through the bottom layer to the floor so the mess is contained inside it. The holes are big enough for the litter I use and catches vast majority of the tracking.It's easy to clean due to the material used and so far has stayed odourless even after having pee on it several times and for several hours on the odd occasion due to it having happened over night.In regards to the "permanent fold" concern and complaints, this is heavily exagerated as it's very very easilly fixed. Yes it comes packed folded and yes once you initially take it out it has that very defined fold and won't lay flat straight away however all you need to fix it is a hairdryer and less than 3 minutes.All I had to do was slightly bend it the opposite way while applying hot hair from the hairdryer to the folded area to warm it up so that it regains it's original shape and it took less than 3 minutes to get it perfectly straight.One one thing I suggest for extra absorption of liquids in case your pet has very bad aim is add a strong paper towel (Plenty, Blitz or similar ones) inside it and it will contain much more liquid without overflowing

Great idea & quality, however, the material is a bit too hard & the pattern size a bit too big for my small tabby.Highly recommended if you have a big cat though 👍

Got the large size and there’s now hardly any litter on the floor so I don’t have to get the hoover out every time my cat uses the litter box or risk my room looking like the cat has tipped the box over! Yes the majority of the Catsan litter I use doesn’t fall through into the pocket but the hoover picks it up off the mat easily enough and it keeps the place tidy so I’m very happy.About the folds, because I got the large one it came folded in four. I just opened it out and put a heavy item on each of the four corners for about 5 days and it came out mostly flat. It’s not perfectly flat but nothing moves and the edges are nice and flat so it’s not possible to trip over it.The big surprise was that I put it on the bed while I was cleaning the area around the litter tray (the litter tray is in the bedroom which isn’t ideal but it’s the only place that makes sense as my bathroom is tiny) and when I went to pick it up to put it under the litter tray I had to move my cat who had decided that it was a good place to sit. At least I didn’t have to worry about it putting my cat off using the litter box.

This product is much thicker than it looks in the images which is rather unfortunate because the cats don't want to walk on it and throw sand out the other side of the cat box instead. It also has a sponge texture that cats don't enjoy walking on.... Not great for cats, basically. 😂
