I followed the instructions for focusing and the binoculars are excellent. Not blurry at all, very clear. It has to be fine focused with two adjustments. The zoom level is great, 16X is above average. I was surprised about how much it weighs, almost one pound. You can't remove the neck strap, I had to tie it up. It's a little bit long for a compact binocular, 5.5" inches. I would recommend buying this binocular.

Super lightweight i carry them in my car cause you never know when you are going to need them. They adjust quite easily and the strap is sturdy and has been holding up quite well to frequent use. Great size for .... oh see a bird moment.... very clear view. Only complaint is the eye piece was smooshed when recieved making it hard for me to see outta left eye. Over all totally worth it for simple easy pair.

Very good pair of binoculars, it's a good compromise of power, weight and compactness, they seem well built and light enough to carry all day, the only thing i noticed was that the close focus (listed on the barska website) is grossly inaccurate, it lists the close focus as being 5.5ft, when its really about 9.5 so if you need something that focuses closer you will probably want some thing in the 7-8x's magnification range, aside from that these are good clear binocs and are great for hunting or birdwatching.

As described by merchant, looks good, well made and sturdy, easy to install and works as advertised. Satisfied with the purchase. I will have no problem ordering from this merchant again , as well as recommending to others.

I purchased two sets of these for a recent trip to the new Nationals' stadium to watch the Nationals vs. Marlins game. They worked much better than I had expected, given the price. Yes, they're not the greatest binoculars in the world, but they worked just fine for a trip to the stadium. They come with a carrying case, a strap that's already attached, instructions (that aren't really needed, but come in seven different languages), and a very nice cleaning cloth. The binoculars are also very light. I would definitely purchase them again.

The first pair of binoculars I received were defective. The two tubes did not focus together at the same range, and there was unacceptable stray light in the image. I returned these and was delighted with Amazon, I had a new pair in three days. The second pair focused correctly, but there is still a bit of flash from stray light. Also, after about ten minutes, the neck strap pulled out of the pin that was holding it. It was a friction fit. I was a bit disappointed by the light gathering ability. I was looking for a compact pair of binoculars for bird watching on my balcony. I measured the objective, and the lens may be 42mm, but it is baffled down to less than 38mm, which in a small optic is significant. In summary, this optic obviously has quality assurance issues, but I kept it because it does meet my needs for a compact set of binoculars at a good value. I have several other Barska optics which have pleased me, so this was a surprise.

Barska Lucid 16X32 Compact(Black) For the size and price, can't be beat. Ones have complained about not being able to focus well and straining eyes. Try this before complaining, 1. look through the left side with your left eye and using the main adjustment, focus in on a non-moving object. 2. look through the right side with your right eye, this time using the eye cap adjustment, turn slowly left or right and focus in on the same non-moving object. This is called setting the focus. When this is complete, use only the main adjustment to focus (REMEMBER, YOUR BINOCULARS ARE NOW SET TO YOUR EYES ONLY!!) Yes, you can buy better ones, but not for $17.00.

Love these binoculars! Very clear view. They are a bit larger than i expected but are worth the weight. Only complaint is they are a bit hard to get in and out of the included pouch.

Bought these so I could "people watch" from my office tower at work. They're awesome. Great clarity, and excellent zoom for the price. Plus they're compact and easy to carry.

I got these for my alaskan cruise and can't wait to use them. They are so compact and light and work really well for what I need them for.

These aren't amazing and don't have the greatest focus. That said if you're looking for a cheap and compact pair of binoculars, I'd say these do the trick. Can see a fair distance, with enough detail for what we had hoped for (taking them camping etc). I'd suggest investing something better if you're really looking for a quality pair of binoculars. You definitely get what you pay for...
