Good things DO come in small packages!
*UPDATE*Just over a year later, and this Micro SD card reader is still going strong and working beautifully. I have it clipped to my keychain, so it takes plenty of daily abuse, and I've had no problems with the Micro SD card that I KEEP inserted into it coming loose, or with the reader itself coming apart or evidencing any real signs of the wear and tear that it endures every day. So, I couldn't be happier with this convenient little reader! With this kind of durability and usefulness, you really can't go wrong keeping one of these around!* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *... like convenience! No more lugging around a Micro SD to SD card adapter AND a USB card reader with this little wonder hooked onto my keychain! I'm almost hesitant to actually leave that card reader behind, since this tiny reader almost seems too good to be true! Will you be able to take a hammer to it and have it withstand the blow? No, of course not, but if all you're looking for is a proper USB reader for your Micro SD/Micro SDHC cards, look no further - this thing's great!Obviously, it's tiny, but heck, so are Micro SDHC cards, so you can't expect this to be huge when what it's accomodating is probably the size of your pinkie nail. And, speaking of nails, I've had no problems pulling my Micro SDHC cards out of the reader's slot - you just have to have enough of a nail on your finger to grip the small raised tab on the end of your Micro SD cards, and simply pull a bit to get them out of the reader.I haven't noticed any issues yet with this reader's durability, but I've only owned mine for a few days, and going by the weight of the thing, and how sturdy it looks to be, I can't imagine that it would be able to take a lot of wear and tear. Thankfully, though, these are inexpensive enough (now) that I have no doubt that you'll get your money's worth out of this item, regardless of how long yours lasts. With this nifty little baby on my keychain, I'll never go without at least a 1GB thumbdrive again! The card stays securely in place once inserted into the slot, and now I know what to do with all of those leftover smaller-capacity Micro SD cards that I've got from my older model cellphones! I love handy little practical things!

Works wonderfully with M2 ultra micro sd FANTASTIC VALUE
My tmobile Sony Ericsson phone required a M2 ultra micro SD card - This is literally the smallest SD card (and probably the rarest)... not to be confused with the much more common Micro SD card, which is already tiny - the size of about my pinkie nail... these cards are even smaller and are called M2 or "ultra micro."I have never seen a card reader that actually has a slot for one, because they are rare, so i needed a reader for my PC (at the time I didn't have a data cable for my phone, which would have worked as well, but this is even better in the long run because I can still use it for storage even though I have a new phone that takes the more standardized Micro SD)The product worked excellent, and read on my PC immediately without installing any software or drivers - plug and play. VERY good value... inexpensive and works great. I was so happy to find something that could read this tiny SD!!!

Not bad
It feels cheap, but not like you're going to break it just from holding it. It works very fast. Most readers take a couple seconds to register on the computer, but this one was fast. The Micro SD card fit in well, but I had minor difficulty getting the reader into my USB port. I had to angle it just right to fit it in. It also seemed to over heat very quickly. I only transferred two things to the card then took the reader out, but it was very warm to the touch. It works very well and I would buy this product again.

Fragile
It’s a functional product, but made of pvc or something similar that won’t last. First use and heated a lot, then removed and noticed it was broken. Not meant to last.

Frequent Disconnects, Unusable
I have about 10 microSD cards and 4 card readers for various functions. 2 card readers are SD to microSD adapters and work well. 2 are USB based and work well. I needed another reader for a different location and went with this model hoping it would be fast and reliable. It turns out it is neither. On any given copy operation, this reader would fail within seconds. I should have returned this to Amazon but didn't bother and just junked it. My other readers are mostly Transcend along with a Sandisk microSD to SD reader. Sandisk is a world class name attached to a terrible product in this case.

Awesome little doodad!
If you have a mini SDHC card, I definitely recommend getting this little card reader. It makes transferring pics, music, documents, etc. so quick and easy! The price is great. I got this to complement my 8 GB micro SDHC that I use in my cell phone. Once you plug in the micro SDHC into the reader, it essentially turns it into a USB flash drive that you can plug into your computer and use to transfer documents and data. The card reader comes with a little clip that you can attach to the reader and clip onto your keys. I keep mine clipped to my keys and I've been using it for about 3 months now with no problems. One thing I have noticed (and read in other reviews) is that it can get a little warm when you plug it into your computer's USB port. I don't know whether this heat becomes excessive over time or whether it can be potentially damaging to the data on your mini SDHC...I try not to keep it plugged in for too long because, frankly, I don't want to find out! I would recommend this card for quick and easy data transfers.
