This product works great. I’m in the auto repair field and I use this on all my oil changes on the drain plug as well. As any nut that has to be torqued to certain specifications. It has extremely reduced warranty work from come backs because it allows myself to quickly identify if the nut has backed off or the oil drain plug has been tampered with.

I am a motorcycle mechanic. I use these for a few reasons, to confirm I've tightened something to spec, to ensure it doesn't come loose on my test ride, and to ensure the customer does not tamper with anything. We all know the dangers a loose fastener can pose on a motorcycle. I place this security seal on any safety critical fasteners when i'm working on motorcycles after that fastener has been torqued to specification. It also helps other mechanics QC my work as they know anything with a blue dot on the edge of the bolt has been torqued. It also gives customers confidence that everything safety related has been tightened properly.This is about the highest quality security seal you can get. the tube is already mixed up unlike some other brands I've tried, and it adheres to surfaces that are not perfectly clean, just so long as dirt is not falling off of it. It also does not fade in the sun, or come off in the rain but can easily be removed by customers if they so please.

I love the color. It really easy to see, here in the rust belt.The previous types I've used are more expensive and I see why. This chemical flattens out when it drys, unlike the other types I've used stay more formed like a hardened wax. What ever this is made of, is really runny, even in cold weather.I use this daily as a tamper indicator and a torque indicator for myself. It reminds me of the items that were tightened to spec if I need to complete an assembly at a later date.I would say it ok.......
