Great Quick Game
Build quality and presentation as expected. Great game for a young family. My 3 year old kid really enjoys this game. He suggests to play it himself. He is a bit young still, so on some days he doesn’t have the patience to play all the way through.

Good idea – badly designed...
This is SUCH a pity, but like many games these days, this was a great idea and theme - but poorly implemented due to the materials used. The idea of the game is to get all the playing pieces concealed by using the ‘ghost covers’, so that players have to try to remember where their playing pieces are when moving them. This action makes it impossible to see which player is underneath which ghost, and as all ghosts ‘should’ be identical, then players themselves have to try to remember which ghost covers their playing piece in order NOT to move the wrong one! This idea can be used, both to help, and hinder various players. However; because the designers have chosen for some bizarre reason to use wood for making the ghosts, it means that each one had to be coated in a sort of white paint. Nothing wrong with that, except that naturally there are ‘flaws’ in the coating, such as patchy areas – or runs in the paint... This results in players recognising the slightest mark on any of them as they cover their piece, and can thus tell thereafter where the relative playing piece is! This is what we found when we played, and we did not have to even try to remember where our playing pieces were.... As a consequence, the game wasn’t really playable...The first copy of this game we had, the flaws in the coating of the ghosts was particularly bad, and so we had to request a replacement. Having received this, these were not much better, and so we ended up choosing the four least flawed ghosts from the two sets to make up one set – but they still had enough flaws on each to see...We emailed the company who produced this game and pointed this problem out (along with some praise for the aesthetics of the game which is very nice of course) but they didn’t even have the manners to respond... So typical of companies these days – and then they wonder why they go out of business!!Apart from the disappointment in the game – we were particularly annoyed, as this is NOT a cheap game; in fact it’s very expensive. It would have been more sensible – and indeed easier we would have thought, to have used plastic for making the ghost covers.Shame... Two stars are for the ‘look’ of the game.
