Ema Jane - Grosgrain Baby Hair Bow Clips (Headbands Not Included) (18 Pack)

After some older bad reviews of these bows I thought I should review them as they arrived to me today. These are very nice hair bows. My 19 mo old daughter is wearing one today and they are vivid, pretty and well made. I have not yet and do not foresee any issues with them falling apart or fraying at the ends. They seem to be very well made. I have them 4 out of 5 stars because I want to see how they will hold up over time - but my first impression is very good. These are a little different from your standard alligator hair clips as the clip itself is a bit bigger and has "teeth" - which is perfect for my daughter who has a lot of thick, straight hair. But I wouldn't recommend these for very fine hair as they might be too heavy/large and would fall out.When I saw the less than stellar reviews I hesitated to purchase, then noticed in the product description that the quality/workmanship had been improved. I think this must be the case because I think this was a very good price for the product and have already recommended it to other friends with children.

I ordered a set of the matching headbands with bows on the Ema Jane Etsy store last year and was pleased with product. This year I wanted just the bows for my now toddler and was surprised to find that the colors and quality were so dramatically different. One source perhaps? These bows state they were made in China and I can only assume that an honest Etsy store owner hand makes their products. Perhaps these bows are being shipped out for less than stellar manufacturing and cheaply sourced materials. The Etsy store doesn't have too many of these like products anymore, so cheap mass manufacturing is my conclusion. You really can't get a better deal for the price even making these yourself, however just know what you are getting into. There may be a difference within the pack on how the bows look and I certainly wouldn't try pairing them with another pack due to the lack of standardization.

These bows are beautiful and sell at a very reasonable price. A perfect size for a 2 year old granddaughter. They have held together well and the variety of colors guarantees there's at least one that will match her outfit. I bought two extra sets so I can use them as stocking stuffers this Christmas. I gave her one set as a special surprise one day, and she grabbed it saying, "my bows!! my bows!!" and proceeded to take every one off the card. It's really nice (as no two bows are the same color) to not have to worry about what happened to her red bow or her orange bow, etc. I had looked at Target, Walmart, Babies are Us. No other product has this quality, this variety, and this reasonable a price.

I can't say enough about these bows. My now 10mth old has worn Ema Jane's bows since birth. We started with the 2.5" and recently purchased these 3.5" ones. The size is only slightly bigger, which is what I hoped for. I know most people are concerned about whether bows actually stay in the hair so I'm here to tell you THESE BOWS STAY IN. My daughter gets one in her hair every morning at 7am and it stays in all day until her 7pm bath. My secret is using baby lotion to slick and gather the hair before placing the bow on her head. I highly recommend these bows for your child or for a baby shower gift. I've purchased quite a few for gifts

I was very excited to find these for my little girl. She started wearing them and there was no excessive wear and tear. She's a calm girl who does not play rough with her things. After a few weeks, the bows started to separate from the clip. I tried hot gluing them back on, but as more and more started to fall apart, I gave up on trying to mend such a shoddy item. Although the set has all the beautiful colors of the rainbow, all the pink and purple ones which matched her outfits are gone. This was a terribly disappointing purchase and I wish I had just returned them sooner instead of trying to give them another chance and mending myself.

These bows are well made and a come in a great variety of colors - there really is one for every outfit. They are great for small babies. However, they may be a bit small for toddlers or older girls if you like the bigger bow look. *They are not any smaller than the listing says, so I don't want to make it seem like they mis-represented their product. It was my fault for not researching better.

these are great bows for a toddler. they are on the big size which is great. so i dont have to worry when my 1 year old pulls them out of her hair, i know she wont be about to eat them. i love all the bright colors. i have a color bow for everyone of her outfits. they are much cheaper here then buying them in a store. each bow in the store is about 3 dollars. with these i got a whole set and im not so upset if she were to lose 1 cause they price is great. if you are buying bows for your little one buy these

I purchased a pack of soft nylon headbands and a set of bow clips to go on them. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the products, the price, and the speed of delivery. Unlike other headbands that leave a mark on my baby's head, these are super soft and fit great without hurting her. Similar items in department stores cost an outrageous amount. In my opinion, these give more variety in color and allow for longer use since once baby's hair is long enough to put up or clip. You have the option of using the bows without the headbands as well.
