Q: Why does motor knock when spinning blade?

I assume you mean when turning by hand with the battery out(right?). It is probably because of the brushless motor. Every brushless motor I have does this no matter the brand.

Q: Would using this saw with a vacuum plus a Rousseau 5000 dust collection tent assure better than 95% of dust is captured?

It wouldn't hurt, but nothing gets it all.

Q: Is there a demo video for me to view? Where can I see the negative reviews?

I haven't found many negatives other than the laser guide. I ripped mine out and put in a shadow guide notification.

Q: Does it just use batteries or can it be plugged in too?

strictly batteries. but that would be a good change to have both!
