Juice Beauty SPF Sport Sunscreen

I have been looking for a safe mineral/physical sunblock for a while since I finished my Coola spray sunblock, which I discover has questionable health effects. EWG sunscreen list of 2018 recommended this as having no known health dangers, affordable and good broad spectrum protection. I had researched a few other mineral sunscreens and found they all have a white cast and are super thick to spread on (badger's, aveeno baby and babybotanticals). This is sooooo nice to spread on the skin! Its still think and a bit goopy, as mineral sunscreens are, but its just takes a few good rubs to spread out. As for the white cast, it IS there but only for a minute or too. I have skin tone similar too JLo, a light toasted cinnamon color and the white cast disappears even on me. Note that a little bit goes a LONG WAY, this stuff spreads far on my arm and collar bone so I hope that means this bottle will last long with regular use. For the price of $15 I think it should be about 5 to 7 ounces, but again a little goes a long way. Also some reviews mention a scent and I dont mind it. There's no chemical smell, or even a beachy coconut scent. To me it smells like an APPLE MARTINI or like a lemony/green apple candy, Which is no surprise since it has white grape juice, apple juice, lemon extract and mandarin essential oil! And will all the nice oils, I should say it makes your skin feel very supple and soft too. The color of the product is an off white cream color which may play a role in the white cast fading so well. Overall I hope I have found my new go to sunscreen! Just hope they make bigger sizes for a similar price!

I really like Juice Beauty sunscreen. I’ve been using this sunscreen for several years now (since I was diagnosed with melanoma about four years back) and it’s kept my skin safe! I use it every day. It goes on a little thick and slick and you do have to really rub it in to get it to all blend, but it has a pleasant scent and seems to go on well. It also doesn’t transfer onto other stuff. The only thing I’ve noticed - and this seems to happen moreso if I’ve applied a little too much - is that sometime it will make my bangs look a little greasy. But if you want awesome sun protection that is also natural and thoughtful when it comes to the environment, this is a nice bet. It also seems to be good in terms of having ingredients that are non-reactionary. Not sure how else to put that. But like I have a lot of allergies and I’ve reacted to even some of the other “natural” product lines. I don’t have problems with the products Juice makes. Their products have been really good for my skin. So good, in fact, that at my last skin check my dermatologist told me we could go back to yearly screenings! Cancer free baby!

So far this has been the best natural sunscreen I have purchased and I have gone through more than a few. This worked well all over my body, including my face. I would have given it 5 stars, but you do have to spend a little time working it in to your skin, especially African American skin. Also, the price is steep for the amount you get. I took my bottle with me on vacation for 5 days and I was getting low after spending 2.5 days at the beach and pool. With reapplying, not sure how families are using one bottle on a week’s vacation.

First let me say I LOVE the brand juice beauty. I love their skin care, have used their tinted moisturizer for years and refuse to switch brands. I love the owner and feel she truly cares about the ingredients which is important to me when it comes to skin care. As your skin absorbs whateve you put on it, and I use it daily on my neck and face. I decided to be cheap and use this instead of the tinted moisturizer as you get more for your $. Unfortunately it does leave a white cast…I’m very very very pale so it doesn’t really bother me and you could easily put down bronzer on but it depends what’s important to you. For me the It’s the safe quality ingredients and knowing my skin is protected. So I do love the product and use it daily. I’m sure if you rubbed it in more it would blend but I’m kinda lazy and don’t care. My skin health/protection is most important to me so I’d recommend if you’re looking for a clean product and good company to support.

I like this sunscreen, but I didn't realize that it was tinted. I love the protection it offers minus the chemicals, but I definitely don't love that it stained a few of my swimsuits on lighter colored fabric that it touched. I've not been very successful at getting it out of the suits, unfortunately. I think it should be clearly stated on the product as well as the description. As far as the actual sunscreen goes, I used it for a week straight while at the beach and never once got any inkling of a burn on my face. I was careful to reapply after a couple of hours, but even doing that I normally get too much on my face with other products. I also think it rubs in well and doesn't leave the mineral sunscreen "whiteness" that everyone complains about. I love the Juice Beauty products, but this one was a little bit disappointing due to the tint. I'm not sure why it needs tint to begin with!

I used this sunscreen for an entire summer. I found that it stayed on pretty well. Just after putting it on, there is a scent vaguely reminiscent of ?dill pickle?. Only for a minute or 2, then it is gone. Like other mineral sunscreens there is some transference to other surfaces (think camera viewfinder). This one, for me, didn't give me as pasty/chalky look as others.

Does it's job, just a little hard to spread and has a little bit of a white cast. Not scent free but if you don't mind the smell of fruit loops this could work for you.

I don't like the formula. Hard to blend and didn't like the smell either
