BOKER Plus Rescom Black Knife

Small, thin, solid and sharp, with a liner lock and a price that's right. This is a great little back-up tool for slicing though seat belt material or for cutting cord. Clip on on a seat belt for ready use or use the lanyard hold to attach it to a key ring and you're good to go.

I use this for cutting various jail made strings and ropes. It works great. The construction is very nice. It's small and compact. But after several months of use I noticed that is started to dull. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for this type of tool.

Sometimes you need to safely cut rope. This works great. Works great for Jute. Haven’t tested it on nylon yet.

An interesting alternative cutting device. Not allowed to have a standard pocket knife in the workplace so I was asked to consider this knife as an alternative cutting device. I bought a couple of them and have carried one with me for a couple of months now. It is well built and appears to be of quality steel as I have used it on numerous occasions and the edges have held up well. It has been great for things like opening boxes and cutting zip ties. My favorite use for it is cutting into those confounded blister packs many items are sold in today. Also used it for stripping electrical wire and cutting nylon rope. Don't get complacent with it though because you can still find a way to cut yourself with it. Only complaint is that it is not as easy to open and close as it appears to be in the promotional youtube video. I now have 4 of them, keeping one in the tool box, one in the kitchen drawer, one in the glove compartment and one in my pocket most of the time. Will be getting several more for christmas gift stocking stuffers.

Small and easy to carry on you. I tested it on a couple types of rope and it works well. I love that it has the serrated edge too.

I had bought this for cases of emergency in a vehicle and the seatbelt is stuck and also double as a box cutter. The cutting edge was dull from the get go compared to the unit I bought for my brother in a black handle. Upon closer inspection, the blade was ground improperly and it would catch when I tried to cut something even as thin as a piece of paper. I ended up returning it as a defective unit and ended up buying the Rescom Black instead.

Only rated "OK" because it's hard for me to use with my big hands. Otherwise it'd be a 5 star rating. Folded it's only 2.75 niches long...My pinky finger is longer than that...

a purely awesome knife. i love the serations they stay sharp forever. i use this knife all the time for cutting thick zip ties and such... its like cutting butter. its a great little knife thats so light i clip it onto my belt right by my belt buckle a lot and can go the whole day forgetting its there till i need it.
