Big Hit with my 5 year old Boy
This is a smallish set, but super fun. My 5 year old had an easy time building it without any adult help even though it is aged 8-14. When you get the set on sale (I think I paid around $25) it totally worth it. It has 6 mini-figures that all have really unique features, and awesome weapons, plus the evil wolf-figure. My son's favourite part is the catapult. Man can that thing launch! I even do it myself just for fun :) Definitely a great set to add to our collection.

Lego is always a winner
Lego is always worthwhile. My son's interest started when he was about four, and now he's ten and still plays with them daily. As a parent, this is a perfect toy-- grows with the child, easy to store, endless versions of play. This is a nice set to play with (some sets are too fragile to actually play with without getting frustrated about having to rebuild parts) and was reasonably priced. No regrets.

Not worth the price.
I received this lego set promptly. However, I was very disappointed in it. The box states it's appropriate for ages 8 to 14. No way! It should read 6 to 8 if you ask me. It definitely is not worth the price!

The Best Army Builder Set Since Uruk Hai
This set is practically a giant version of an army builder, similar to the Uruk Hai set from LOTR, but just bigger. You get two elf archers, one elf warrior and two orc warriors (one with a cool shoulder armor), and if you get enough of these sets...you can practically start an elf/orc war. The fortress itself is a sweet addition; there's a lot of useful parts in it, especially varying size of tree branches and leaves. It also comes with two beautiful oval shields that will surely be useful for army equipments or even just castle decorations. The entire set is prefect to breakdown and reuse for MOCs. But whatever things there are in this set, the warg is what sold it to me. The only time you can get a warg was in the giant Attack of the Wargs set, where you get a white and gray warg. Here you'll get a brown warg that's similarly well-detailed and sculpted, and here it comes in a better price tag. Thranduil is one of the exclusive figs here, but I don't see much use for him other than collection purposes. Overall, a great army builder set. I'm definitely getting more of these.

Very good set
This is a very cheap set considering everything that you get in it, 3 elves, 2 orcs and 1 warg, even a free king, and even THEN you still get another medium sized structure. So what are you waiting for? For sure it will go up in price once Amazon's pricing has ran out.

A winning set for sure!
One of the best values on any licensed set currently produced. - A bunch of great figures - A bunch of great & useful parts - A warg in a small set Hard to beat this offering!

Lego my Lego!
Purchased for my Grandson, who is 15 yrs old. He has quite a collection of Lego. He absolutely loved this addition to his collection. It was his favorite gift and the first one he spent a lot of time with.......Now just to make room for it and whatever addition is next. I would highly recommend this item for any young person who has the patience and knowledge to put these things together.

okay set not very much room for elven warriors to stand if you want to pose them with bows pointing forward you must prolong the platform,i had to modify the trees on the tower so the elves wouldnt catch otherwise cool launching system the elven king [im not going to try to pronounce his name] is very detailed orcs and warg are cool one reason to buy this set is it is the only one with the elven king it is a 3 star set
