PattyBoutik Women Cowl Neck Ruched Double Layer Top (Magenta Small)

Did I get a dud?? Mine runs HUGE in magenta! I have a 36" bust so by the size chart I am a Medium, but the last PatryBoutik shirt I bought was size Small and it is a bit too large so I bought this in Small, but this... This is SWALLOWING me! SO much extra fabric around the shoulder/bust area, the shoulders want to slip off my shoulders with arms relaxed, and I have extremely unflattering folds across my bust. Even the sides bunch up around my underbust and waist because there's too much fabric. This feels like it's bearly touching my skin, doesn't stretch much accept for a tiny bit at hip and bust.I have many cowl neck gathered garments in my closet, I love them and they're so flattering, so I know how they're supposed to fit. This is just... Wrong. I am petite and this shirt makes me look way heavier than my 5'4" 124 pound self. :(Also, I understand screen color car vary, but everything else I've purchased on Amazon looks true to color. This product image looks bright pink online, but it's very berry in real life. I took a picture of something I expected it to look like colorwise next to it. It looks purple in comparison!I am so sad this is a miss. I LOVED my first PatryBoutik shirt! And I was hoping to replace a long-time favorite shirt that's pilled beyond repair that looks exactly like the picture. So sad I'll probably have to return this. Wish it came in extra small, I'd just exchange it!

As usual with Patty Boutik, I love the clothes I received. This is soft and comfy, and looks great. I am 5'5 and 155 pounds and the Medium is perfect. There is plenty of space/stretch if I had a larger chest (I'm a B) and it minimizes my pillowy belly. I bought 2 and I want to buy all of them now. There is a little elastic or something in place so that the shoulders sit just over your shoulder cap, holds the shirt in place and makes it so the strap doesn't slide inwards or outwards.

Update: I have added photos of the shirt straight out of the package, after washing, and after wearing for a few hours. You can see how the wrinkles smoothed out.I also included a close-up of the fabric.The shirt came out of the dryer wrinkled, but the wrinkles fell out very quickly, before I even got to work. No shrinking. This is a very nice, work casual shirt that could be easily dressed up.Original review: I recently discovered PattyBoutik, and I am a definite fan. Like many of the other reviewers, I'm busty and tall but with an otherwise fairly average build. I tend to wear a Large/XL, depending on the style. I bought an XL due to the other reviews and I'm glad I did, because I like how it drapes, not too tight.This shirt is double-layered on the front AND back, which is nice, because the fabric is a very, very thin and delicate knit rayon. It arrived in a small envelope and was very wrinkled, although I'm hoping the wrinkles will drop out once I wash it(I will update my review). I bought the Mauve, and I found the color to be what I expected - a dusty lavender.

Love this top. I purchased it for work. It looks great with a nice cardigan or blazer. It fits true to size. When it comes right from the bag, it's a wrinkled mess. Just wash in cold water, gentle cycle and hang dry. Perfect. Color doesn't fade.

I just threw this on out of the package so it's wrinkly.It fits well lots of compliments I would even buy this again in different color for work.I'm 5 feet 9 inches 180 lb DDD

Great top. Very flattering for work or going out. I am 38DDD, 5'6" tall, size 14-16 jean, 200 lbs. I ordered the XL but could have fit in the L. I ordered this in other colors already.

Amazing top! Double layered fabric, very nicely draped. Not see through even though I ordered cream color. Great top that can be worn at work, or anywhere you’d like.

I absolutely LOVE PattyBoutik. I have many of the shirts and particularly like the cowl necks and the form fitting shirts. Fits just as expected. LOVE! Definitely recommend.
