Very happy with the purchase
First day out with it in La Jolla Cove and found about $30 worth of lead weight between the 4lb weight I dug up and the 6oz triangle snag claw weight and also found 2 snorkels(one was broken so I threw it out) and a mask using my eyeballs. One thing I did notice is, when trying to switch to dive mode, it can be a bit tricky if doing it while in the water on the surface with gloves on, also the unit must be flipped so the underside is facing up and is very horizontal or it may resist going into dive mode, probably way easier to do before entering the water with no gloves on and just deal with it beeping like crazy whenever it senses your gear or try to hold it belly up to disable the metal detection until you can get good and submerged and outstretch it away from you. Overall thrilled with the purchase, spent 4hrs hours in the shallows with 2 steelhp 133 tanks around 10-15ft deep and got the items in the pic will be fun to take to the beach and configure an arm extension with some waterproof gorilla tape or something since they dont seem to make one for it from what the manuf says. Works on anything metal with 6-8in as advertised, nice and sensitive, very few false positives or mineralized rock readings. I noticed when the unit arrived the o-ring had almost 0 lube on it so I used some camera o-ring lube, same stuff I use on my 9000F SeaLife lights and gopros and re-lubed it and should stay nice and sealed and just leave it that way for cleaning and then plan on only taking apart when absolutely necessary or to inspect the o-ring integrity. Also there isn't an attachment for it but you can make one using an arm cuff cane as seen in the picture using a cane, a 2in pvc adapter and a 4in bolt. 3rd photo is of my 3rd beach day with it, found about $20-30 worth of fishing weights.

This is my second purchase of this product
Love it! I dive lakes and find interesting and antique stuff. Some areas have a leaf deposit that can go three feet deep or more (if I can't hit bottom with my arm, I'm not going any deeper!) I find this shorty very comfortable to sweep and the selection of settings are perfect for different bottom conditions. The most sensitive setting works great with the leaf detris as it's not solid and the detector sweeps through it nicely with the assurance if something is there it will tell me. The vibration and audible notifications vary with size and distance of the object and is very helpful. My first detector is black and, although it will blink and beep when it hasn't detected anything after a few minutes - which helps locate it if you drop it - I'm getting the yellow (green?) one which is easier to see and my son and grandson will have a good sweeper instead of a pinpoint detector.

Great little submersible detector!
The Nokta pulse dive is excellent!! Easy to use and very good quality. I recommend it to divers and snorkelers looking to add a little extra fun treasure hunting. I have used it multiple times just cruising along the bottom at the public beaches. It’s addicting! Great little metal detector. I also have the larger wand you can buy separately for greater detecting depth and width.

PulseDive = 2 time LOSER
Bought this after seeing it used on YouTube and researching it. My first unit somehow got breeched by water. I have issues with my hand / finger strength, so I blamed myself for the error. Since I had purchased the 8" coil for better coverage while hunting underwater, I ordered a new unit, and this time had my boyfriend tighten all components for me to ensure proper fit.After 7 uses / outings with it, it suddenly would not turn on. When we got home we unscrewed everything and saw that water had breeched from both the top and the bottom of the unit.Now I know that this is a product design flaw, and that the issue with my first unit was likely NOT my fault. As I see it, Nokta Makro owes me a replacement unit AND a refund, since the first unit should have been covered under warranty. BUYER BEWARE!

When using the coil it does a great job at locating metals within its looped area, giving you a general location. It come with a pin pointer also which I find work very well in pointing out exact local. My opinion is it’s worth the price. Alway fun to unbury those lost treasure.

Not really worth it
The LED lights don’t light up when detecting as described in the manual doesn’t have a very strong pinpoint areaYou basically have to be touching the metal for it to go off
