I got the 7x3.5x1.2mm beads that are said to have a rubber hold diameter of 1.2mm. They look very good, shiny steel that looks closer to white plated items (as expected, these are darker grey than silver plate or sterling silver). I tested these out using 0.7mm silver plated beading chain to make a bracelet using the bolo stop/slide bead instead of a clasp. The 1.2mm rubber hole diameter seems to be reasonably accurate, as I was able to get two sides of the chain (=1.4mm) through the hole and it slides for sizing and stays put fine for that use (and the color looks fine with the chain). I'd say the hole is a bit loose for a 1.2mm rubber hole. It should grip the 1.4mm of chain better than it does. Maybe it's the size, of maybe the rubber interior isn't "grippy" enough. ?I also got a set of the 7x3.5x2mm beads with a rubber hole diameter of 2mm. I tested these using 1mm leather cord (for a total of 2mm), but the rubber hole was way too loose. I was able to put a 1mm + 1.5mm leather cord through for a total of 2.5mm and it was still too loose to use as a stop slider (yes, I tried a few of the beads). I'm not sure what size the hole actually is.So, 5 stars for the quality of the bead in general, but the sizing of the larger beads being off brings down the rating a lot, as that's the entire point of this type of bead.Hope this info helps someone...c~Handmade In Conifer Jewelry

The hole was way to small to fit on a snake brachlet. Dissaponted...

As I stated about a similar product (different size) I had seen this bead on a bracelet in a store but could not find them anywhere. They are wonderful on single bar or chain bracelets to keep beads and charms in place.

These are well made, they just didn't work with my bracelet and I had to return them.

My order came very quickly but the opening was too small for my bracelet.
