Tapioca Blue Classic Rollup Style Leather Vintage Pencil Case

Really nice case at a great price! I was going to settle for a less expensive and am glad I didn't. The case is well made and durable. I put all my art pens in there and even a thick brush pen and it buttons up just fine. Don't waste your money on cheap leather that falls apart. This one cost more but it will hold up so much better.

As someone who is constantly losing pens and pencils, this has saved me a lot of $$. Pens and pencils roll up tightly in the case and it has a small flap to keep them in. I carry this everywhere to remind me to put them up when I am done. It has turned into quite a conversation piece at work as well, not the usual item seen carried around. To be honest, in the world of smart phones, I love pulling this out and setting it on the table in meetings when everyone sets their phone down.I initially was worried about the leather strap used to close the case would quickly fall off, or the holes used to fasten it closed would stretch and it would not close as tightly, but the strap has held up great, so I stand by my 5-Star rating.

It's a really great way to carry fountain pens or any other long and slim item that you would like to protect. After much consideration, I decided on this holder because, it has enough spots for at least five pens, it keep them separated so they don't get scratched from rubbing against one another, it is tall enough to accommodate longer pens (the calligraphy pens by Sheaffer, for example), it has several perforations that would allow for bulkier items. It is genuine leather and the inside is a suede like finish which is soft enough for pens with a glossy finish. You will not regret this!

I carry multiple pens and pencils in the field and this roll seems very durable and will carry what I need. When my original order was lost in the mail, another was sent immediately.

I bought this leather pen and pencil holder because I have recently purchased a couple of fountain pens that I wish to protect . The other slots are filled with pens that are in the 30 dollar range and in the past I have lost a few of these. Not only will this holder protect them but help me avoid loosing them. The pens fit snuggly into the leather . I think over time it will loosen up some as it wears in. The leather looks very nice and is thick enough to provide good protection. It rolls up very easily and fits in the top of my briefcase very well. The price was reasonable . If I start buying more pens to collect and or use I would buy another one of these for sure,

As the headline states, it's bigger than I expected. So that it doesn't fit comfortably into my small pocketbook. It is much longer than the pens and the leather feels thick and rigid. On the flip side, it feels like a good quality product that will hold up to repeated use.With my skinny muji pens I'm able to fit 2 into each slot except for the far right slot which only fits one. With the pen holder full of pens I managed to get it hooked to the very last hole of the fastener loop. Not sure how it would work with thicker pens.

Great case. It has the real leather smell and feel to it. Holds a decent amount of pens and pencils. It may need a little extension on the strap that holds it together because some pens can add a bit of bulk to the roll. This is not a big deal but it may limit some utensils from being stored. I have yet to meet this issue but I haven't filled all the holders as of yet either. Overall a very nice leather pencil case especially for the price. The included pencil was a nice addition as well.
