Broken right out of the box. So frustrating. I would like to be able to give this model a five out of five star rating because the detail is incredible and even though it is broken, I was very excited to see all of the organs and the high-quality of this piece overall. Still, it’s pretty disappointing that there was so little care with the processing and packaging of a model at this price. From the minimal packaging material and extensive empty space in the box… it’s not that surprising that it arrived broken. Right out of the box it was obvious there’s a giant piece missing out of the head portion and once I removed the half brain from the cranial cavity it’s obvious that there’s a lot of cracking in there too that extends up the right side of the model’s head. There’s also some additional cracking on the face and skull. Honestly, it seems like just a little more effort could be made to package this model properly to completely avoid any damage during transit. We all know that shipping and processing is not gentle.. they throw things and disregard “fragile” even though this box doesn’t even say fragile or “this side up”. The company could be more thoughtful. I am not going to remove all of the organs because I plan to immediately seek a refund and replacement. I will update my review if and when that replacement comes through. Again, it appears to be a really good quality product with a lot of detail, but is disappointing because I planned to use the studying for finals in grad school and now I need to send it back. The size is great!

This is a very well made human torse which displays internal organs. I got this for my daughter as she is studying medicine.

I’m super happy with the product but it arrived with a massive fracture. I’m going through the return process now and will try ordering again. I’m hoping it’s a mishap and not a sign of poor quality.

Organs come out and are realistic. I work for an organ recovery organization. I bought this model to teach my staff how to recover organs for research and to increase their anatomy knowledge on organs and vasculature.

I can see where this could have a lot of uses as a teaching tool. The parts must be put in, in a very particular way, so that could be easier. As far as first impressions, this doesn’t disappoint. It makes visualizing the anatomy much easier. The reproductive organs are tactfully presented, and again are excellent for teaching about the anatomy of the reproduction organs. I think every doctor’s office should have one of these, as it would go a long way to make explanations understandable. I can see where you could use this as a fun game for students by timing them to see who can reassemble it correctly in the shortest amount of time.

Years ago, my daughter took a class for radiology and if this would have been around then, it would have made her Anatomy class so much easier! Now, with age, I find this helpful when the doctors discuss things going on with different organs. But the bottom line is, this will be such a neat useful tool for a student or a visual for a physician's office. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Nothing was damaged. Very nice!
