These filters work absolutely beautifully & fit inside the "Pioneer Pet Raindrop Oval Stainless Steel Fountain" pump perfectly! They are affordable & they really get the job done without any worries. My tiny cat & large dog share this fountain system; I add fresh water everyday (as the water level drops), clean the fountain once a week, change the filter every two/three weeks & clean the entire pump once a month. In the interim, the water runs crystal clear all day long - thanks to these filters! The sound & view of the continuously flowing water makes visiting the waterhole fun & relaxing but the best part is that I am confident my pets are drinking clean, fresh water every time. I definitely recommend these filters & will continue to buy for my furry friends' fresh water fountain!keep the pump clean: [...]

CAUTION! My Filter had METAL in it!
I •thought• these were "great" and "worth the savings", but NO more. I can't say there is metal in every filter, but once is enough for me not to use or buy them again! (See pictures) I still have almost a full box, so I'm not saving any money here. I don't know what kind of metal it is, but it's definitely metal that caused the oxidization pictured. The cats refused to drink out of the fountain after a day.I want to make sure you don't assume they wouldn't drink because, 'their fountain must have been dirty'. I am an absolute NUT about fresh, clean drinking water for them. I have the Big Max 128oz Pioneer Pet Fountain and wash it (with fountain brushes taking everything, including the pump, apart) COMPLETELY and very well. They typically will drink it right down until the pump starts sucking air in the first day! I knew something was wrong when they would sniff the water and walk away.I know, I am just one person, just one reviewer, and when money is tight--money is tight. I'm just asking you to consider, is the potential negative health consequences of using these filters for your dog or cat worth it?

Super Easy and Inexpensive to use!
I have two older cats and one liked to knock his water dish to splash the water around - but what a mess for me! So I purchased the Pioneer Stainless Steel bowl and both cats enjoyed it - the cat who didn't splash the water is the one who drinks from the 'bubbling' area.It came with a few filters (which are SUPER EASY to change out!). I went on Amazon to purchase more and bought a box with 3 filters. Once I went through those (about every 3 weeks) I decided for the minimal cost that I would purchase a larger quantity and now have the package with 10! I love how easy it is to change the filters out (I see cat hair and old food caught around it) and I know that my cats are receiving clean, fresh water every time they drink.

Motor stopped after y6 months
This fountain ran great for 6 months, then the motor died. A replacement is $10. Just be aware that you will be replacing the motor at least once a year.

Great third party filters
These PetStandard filters for the pioneer pet fountain is a great third party product. They're not the originals but they're definitely good quality copycats. Fits perfectly in the filter holder. I haven't had any leaking charcoal. I made sure to run some water through the filter before I start using it though. You could probably buy some filter floss and activated carbon to refill your existing filters but these are priced well and saves time. I used these in the stainless steel fountain. I would imagine they would work the same in the ceramic version.

Excellent replacement filters at an affordable bulk price! Performance and longevity is very good.
These are good replacement filters for the Pioneer Teardrop Fountain. You absolutely cannot beat the price because this is enough filters for probably nearly 2 years counting the ones that come with the fountain and if you're using it for only one or two cats. I've seen other reviews that say that they are so dusty and dirty at first....that's normal of any charcoal filter and especially if you jostle them around a good bit. The design (the waffle style holes) are slightly different than the original filters for the Pioneer Teardrop (the original has said series of slots rather than holes), but the fit and effectiveness are exactly the same. The reason I give it 4 stars is because you DO have to run cold water through them a good bit more because there is more loose charcoal in these than the originals...but that's not really a big deal. I think it may be because the holes are larger and wider rather than skinny slots. The important part is the performance and ability to maintain the water as well as prevent debris from entering the motor and ruining it or making it run rough. I have had neither of these problems and find that the performance is just as good as the originals. They are just a bit messier and the packaging isn't as tight and neat (which is probably part of what makes more loose charcoal come out and make them a little "dusty" out of the package). The price for maintaining a fountain for a year+ on most fountains/filtration systems is quite high and use larger filters that aren't necessarily better...just much more expensive. I am continuously impressed by how well the fountain, system, design, and replacement filters work seamlessly while being incredibly affordable.Definitely worth purchasing to maintain your Pioneer Fountain. I can't speak for how they work in OTHER style fountains, so please keep in mind that I've only used these on the Pioneer Stainless Teardrop fountain and that is what my review is based on.
