I had a hat like this years ago and could not find another until I stumbled across this one. It is soft and flexible and very comfortable to wear. It has a draw string so it can be cinched down for the perfect fit. I have a large sized head for a woman and I worried about choosing a had that would fit. I think I wear a 7.75 size hat but there was plenty of extra room for a larger head size. The weave is tight enough to give good shade from the sun but still let air in.

I purchased a hat from this company in 2020, and used the “buy again” option for this purchase. It arrived squished since it was packaged in a bag, not a box, and the raffia is not stiff like the original. Material is not stiff and has lost its shape. Also it is not sized like the original and is too big for my head - the original fit perfectly. Im very disappointed, especially since i was so pleased with the original. I will not be purchasing from them again.

This is a lovely hat. It is well made and holds its shape. I was hoping for a lighter "natural" fibre look. This is basically brown instead of flax or hay colored. This color issue makes it less versatile. The brim is also not even all of the way around. Others won't notice this when it is worn, but you will.

Ordered in Mixed Earth (a pretty palette of faded rose and mixed browns). My head it not small, but it was not too tight at all. The shape flatters my full oval face and large features, but I think the style will look great on just about anyone. It offers great sun protection; the brim is generous but not cumbersome. It is substantial and not too floppy. Hopefully, it will not lose its shape in a suitcase. I love how I look in it; finding a flattering beach hat is harder than it seems. The only other style that I like is Scala Medium Brim. Glad to have taken a chance on this one!

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong Color. However the hat that I was sent is very cheap and flimsy, that poked my head and was uncomfortable.

Bought my first hat five years ago still good. Faded from the sun but still can wear it. Just think every five years a new hat is not too extravagant. Even in our Santa Ana Winds the hat stayed put.

I returned this hat immediately because everything about it was bad: the color and the quality!I have quite a few hats made by this company, so I was so surprised to see how horrible this hat is. It’s just plain ugly!

Keeps my head and neck covered from sun but cool. Have worn twice and very comfortable. Good quality and well made. Light fit , soft but sturdy natural straw look.
