These outdoor chairs were so easy to put together and came with quality everything. They look exactly like the picture and are comfortable and sooo stylish. They are lower to the ground but perfect for side chairs.

If you don’t have a lot of experience putting pieces of furniture together, it can be complicated. This was seemingly simple to assemble, but I was very unfamiliar with some of the tools and screws and bolts and that went along with it, but I love the chairs they’re beautiful.

These chairs are gorgeous and comfortable. I bought go t two for my backporch area. I gave them 4 stars only because they are hard for taller people to sit down in. My husband is 6’1” and said once he gets down that low and sits down, it is very comfortable no matter your height. They are built sturdy too. Great price for such a pretty chair.

Definitely in my top ten purchases from Amazon. The chair is fairly straightforward to assemble, I put it together in my own in about 45 minutes. You will need to read the directions very carefully to not get confused on what goes where. The chair feels like really good quality and it is very comfortable. I am short, so the low profile works perfect for me. I bought a chair cover separately to make sure this purchase lasts for a long time.

The first of four chairs in my order arrived today. I unboxed it and began assembly. Sadly, the last steps revealed that four of the pre-drilled holes are WAY off and will not allow the chair to be assembled correctly. The arms and front legs are to be drilled into the seat and back framing, but each hole is off by about 6”. If I were to force the connection, the four legs would be so close together at ground level that the chair would topple forward, completely unable to seat a human body/weight. The attached photos show where the holes are when legs/arms are arranged correctly, and the other photo shows what the assembled chair would look like if the existing (incorrectly placed) pre-drilled holes were used. These chairs were to be here for a party and I am very disappointed. The chair otherwise looks nice. Now if only it would also function as a chair… I’ve called the company several times, but no answer. I left a voicemail. We’ll see if I get a returned call. Regardless, this chair will absolutely be returned. ** CORRECTION!!** **First note: I never did receive a returned call or email. The remainder of this review basically says the chair is ok now, but I am still not impressed with the company’s so-called “availability” or interest in assisting a customer.** Update even though I never got help from the company: I’m a dummy and had the chair back/seat oriented incorrectly. When I looked more closely at the photo I realized I must have had one of the two components upside down. This almost immediately resolved the problem. (No thanks to the company- they never replied to me!) *Note that: The instructions could have absolutely been more clear and helpful. Even a simple sentence telling me “it’s easy to mistakenly orient the two parts incorrectly” could have been helpful, not to mention a diagram or some labeling on the pieces themselves! However, I still accepted responsibility for my mistake in how to assemble these pieces. Just know that the instructions and labeling system are sorely lacking. I can say these are nice chairs, now that 2 of the 5 have been received and assembled. Still waiting on the others to arrive, but I presume they’ll be pre-drilled the same way. I still recommend a re-work on the instructions.

**Edit - I do need to add that after 5 weeks one chair has completely cracked at the seat. (Photo) If you look hard the glue from a previous break(?) can be seen. We’re disappointed and will try to get it replaced - unfortunately it’s past the official Amazon return date, but we’re hopeful. We love these chairs! They seem sturdy so far, have weathered a great deal of rain and cold so far, and still look great. They are comfortable, if low, but technically are exactly the same heights (seat, arms) as a regular Adirondack/Muskoka chair. The look is nice. We’re waiting to see how the roping lasts.

I had been looking for a pair of patio chairs for our deck and was struggling to find something comfortable, stylish, and with a small enough footprint to suit my needs. I'm very happy that I stumbled upon these Balkene Home/Patio Sense chairs. The seem sturdy and are well made- and most importantly, they're comfortable. I look forward to enjoying them for years to come.
