One of the major lessons I learned from this historical nonfiction novel is that our past doesn't define us and no matter how strong the obstacles if we are determined, we'd always beat them. It is all about the fascinating account of a few brave women who lived their lives on their own terms.The author does a decent job of bringing out these women's extraordinary character and strength. At a time when women were mainly sexualized while doing this kind of job, we shouldn’t forget that it took a lot of courage and valor to fight for one's country. It is quite interesting to learn, how meticulously they cooperated with the operation and made the missions a success.

The espionage book is a must-read for all especially young adults, to be aware of these heroic characters and learn from their dedication, loyalty, and patriotism or lack of thereof. It can be a pleasure read as well to merely know about the lives and activities of some gifted women and their courage. A helpful guide for all of us. Awesome!
