This bread has great flavor and texture, and toasts well. This feels like real bread, and has ingredients that I feel good about, particularly the primary ingredient: Flaxseed (great for EFAs and fiber). The carbs present in the bread are largely offset by the natural fiber, and what's left is negligible. It has a nice, neutral flavor for sweet or savory applications. Not too salty, either. I've had other keto breads that are either crumbly, or almost entirely gluten with a styrofoam texture.

I buy the blue and red print variety of the base culture keto bread. It is an easy way to make sure, that along with the right veggies, I am getting enough fiber on my keto eating plan. It tastes amazing, you can toast it in a cast iron to make a hot sandwich, (hot pastrami!), and it is a game changer for picnics or boating, when you need a quick sandwich. Pieces are small, but for all of my allergies, this is amazing!!! Tastes great! I even toook a loaf with me on a cruise, kept it in the in suite refrigerator, and took a piece to breakfast. Highly recommend

I miss the yeasty flavor of wheat bread, but if you are watching gluten, this is tasty enough to get you over the hump. I think it could use more salt, but you can always just sprinkle it on.

I was recommended this bread when I had gestational diabetes, and I am still eating it a year and a half later. When I first tasted it, I was unsure about the taste, but it grew on me. It is a little pricey for bread, but I keep it in the freezer and pull out slices and toast. It tastes awesome with almond butter.

I really really like this stuff and was ordering it regularly UNTIL I received 2 moldy loaves with no way to notify seller. I tried. There should have been a way to receive reparation for my failed purchase. Granted, it is a natural product without all the chemical perservatives (part of the appeal) and it was one shipment out of many but the fact I could find no way to notify anyone left me feeling cheated. This product is still tasty but beware.

Healthy, delicious product for those who have gluten allergies or avoid grains. It is made with almond flour and other healthy ingredients and we often toast it since it arrives frozen in the main. Highly recommended. Big plus is that it tastes just like the grain variety and has very beneficial ingredents.

I have purchased Base Culture breads in person at my local health food store as well as Whole Foods without issue. They have been delicious.I ordered this loaf from Whole Foods through Amazon and obviously should have been paying closer attention when I deforested 2 slices in the microwave. I made a sandwich and upon first (and thank God, ONLY bite), the taste was abysmal. I knew something was very, very wrong. When I looked down, both slices of my sandwich were infested with mold. After immediately getting sick, I grabbed the rest of the loaf from the freezer to inspect it. The ENTIRE LOAF was green with mold. This was just delivered to me and was still frozen upon arrival.To say that this is unacceptable is an understatement. How my local Whole Foods allowed this to happen is beyond comprehension. If this all natural item was never allowed to defrost, the mold could not have grown.I did not take or share a pic because I don’t anyone else to become sick from looking at it. Don’t take your chances; just get it in person.
