I like having a portable radio around for power outages, working in the garage and venturing out. I also take one to sporting events sometimes so I can listen to the radio commentary while watching the game. This one feels solid and it looks good. Fits easily in the palm of your hand. The foldable antenna brings in all my local stations, including the weather band. The speaker provides a robust sound and there's plenty of volume. I also like the fact that it runs on AA batteries, which are readily available and last a long time. For the very reasonable price, what's not to like?

The media could not be loaded. I've been very impressed with the portable radio! It's compact and easy to carry, making it perfect for emergencies and outdoor activities. The reception is excellent on all channels (NOAA, AM, FM), even in areas where other radios struggle. The audio quality is clear, and I appreciate the headphone jack for private listening. Okay when you listen to a bunch of dystopian audiobooks you realize that after 48 hours yourself was not going to work and you won't have any way to get news. Having a little radio would be nice after that time. I could have spent 50 or $60 for something I'll never use hopefully lol... But it's a lot better to spend 16. Hopefully we'll never use this again in my life but glad it's going to be sitting in a drawer. The perfect little radio for what I hopefully never need it for.

Even in my cement block condo walls 90% of stations come in clear, antenna works well.. Works on 2 AA batteries. Small and portable for bugging out / evacs in hurricanes. We just had 2 hurricanes here in Sarasota! Lately, I use it in the kitchen -if I'll be cooking for awhile. Nice to know I have it in house!Great price! A great buy!

I bought this to replace a much fancier WB radio that ran on rechargeable batteries, could be charged by solar or hand crank (supposedly), had a flashlight, could charge a cell phone, and it never worked very well. This one is inexpensive, lightweight, and gets a pretty good signal. I've used it several times over the years when electricity/internet/cell phones were down to stay informed and have a little entertainment. An absolute lifesaver in a small and very inexpensive package. Just remember to keep fresh batteries on hand too, although it does not drain batteries very much at all. I've used mine for several days almost all day and haven't had to change the batteries. Well worth having on hand!

This little radio is amazing for the price...clear sound, easy operation. My husband loves it, especially for listening to football games in pur area that are not televised.

It worked fine when I tested it before I went camping. I had to use it in earnest last night as bad weather was moving in. Thank goodness it worked during the storms. The next morning I turned on for the forecast and nothing! Just nothing, so I put another set of new batteries in it, and nothing. It's supposed to be stormy again and no radio for information.UPDATE: The company reached out immediately and was faster than lightning in taking care of me. They were accommodating in every way and replaced the radio overnight! That was an unexpected surprise because in many cases, good customer service is a thing of the past. I have only used it once during a storm a day after the replacement came in. The reception was not as clear as the first one that got me through very severe storms in a small camper, in this case, it was as clear as a bell the whole time and I did not have to keep pointing it in different directions to get it to come in. The replacement didn't have the same clarity and had to be held in different directions to get the reception. I changed the rating because of the excellent customer service and because the radio does work, it just needed some tweaking.The AM/FM band comes in loud and clear.

Very slim and compact. Easily fits into any bag or purse. I was able to get the weather which was my main reason for purchasing. Picks up the all the AM and FM channels that my other radios do. Sound is fine for a small one speaker device. Can go pretty loud. Volume knob is a bit sensitive. No power button; have to turn the volume all the way down to turn it off. I thought it had stopped working it the batteries were dead. It will drain them even if it is not on.
