Unlike so many of the pencil cases that I’ve seen, this is a harder, smooth plastic. I am not afraid of the plastic breaking or stretching whenever I attempt to remove the Apple pencil from the case. While I think the silicone ones are slightly better to grasp, this pencil case does not collect dust as easily and the apple pencil does not slide around in the case itself.One of the main reasons I bought this case is because I have the iPad Pro case with a pencil holder and I didn’t want my Apple Pencil to be constantly charging when it’s magnetically connected to my iPad Pro all day. This pencil case is thin enough to fit in the pencil holder of the iPad Pro case when I flip the magnetic part of the Apple Pencil in the other direction of the iPad Pro case in order to prevent it from further charging and it does not fall out!

Perfect amount of neutral sparkle. Have had it about 3 months now and the plastic is still clear with no signs of yellowing. Comfortable to hold and tap while in use. Easy to remove for cleaning.

I love this pencil case ! Protective and cute. And helps provide a grip. Compatible with wireless charging . Plain perfect !
