I thought I’d love it, but when I first tried to use it immediately had a negative perception. I’m glad I decided to take my time and adjust it. This works very differently than anything you’ve used before. In fact, it’s possible the curve of your dashboard makes it impractical. I have a flat dash/vent area that helps prop the phone.1. Find an angle the base works well in. Mine needed extra support from the dash on the bottom of the phone.2. Firmly adjust the tension spool in the back. It’s plastic, so don’t get too crazy.3. BE GENTLE. imagine your sitting and picking up your phone from a cloud. If you’re used to using tension or being rough to get your phone on the stand, it’s time to adjust the way you perform.4. Lift up and slide down your phone when using the base. DO NOT yank it from the base guys....If you can do these things, your base could last forever. I definitely think it will be more durable over time since I have very light interactions with it.

It takes seconds just to place the phone on it without having to squeeze and clip.

Love it very convenient very slim and is at your fingertips and you don’t have to worry about it falling out the air vent

I disliked this product for several reasons1) incredibly difficult to attach to vent slats2) entire unit kept falling off3) phone kept falling out4) When car warm, mechanism didn't holdCheaply made. Don't buy this product!

It's an okay product but once you start hitting potholes or speed bumps the phone falls off, the 4 point grips fall off and honestly should only be used as a temporary hands free mount until you buy one that for sure won't fall.

I love the idea of this gadget but the grip is not long enough or strong enough to stay in the vent when the phone is put in the holder. Wish it was, but it is just not a usable product in my Honda CRV

The plastic spring loaded pincher that is to grab and hold the phone holder on the air vents is too weak.After inserting my apple iPhone 6, the entire holder and phone falls offThis falls far from being the best phone holder and can’t recommend it!

The iPhone XS Max is too tall and heavy for this and it won’t grip it in place in a stable manner. When I break suddenly or make a sudden turn, it falls off.
