MOOG LK016 Suspension Knuckle Assembly for Ford Escape

It was time to replace the wheel bearings on my 2010 Ford Escape, and I didn't want to pay someone else to press the old bearing out and press the new one in. I figured that after 185,000 miles, it wouldn't hurt to replace the entire steering knuckle assembly. I have all the tools to do the job, so that made it pretty easy. The entire job took less than 2 hours to do - plus I had to get an alignment afterward. The assembly costs more than the bearing would separately, but taking into account the labor costs of having someone else do the entire job - or even just to replace the bearing after doing the work myself - seemed worth it. MOOG makes great parts, and this was no exception. I will definitely look for full assemblies the next time I have to do this on my other vehicles.

Includes nut. Does not include cotter pin. O'reilly's has the cotter pin. Alignmemt afterwards is recommended. Rides smooth, easy install. One week later all is well.

If you are considering this product, strongly recommend you buy protection plan. Purchased both left and right for well over $400 on 7-22-19. Have now had for 19 months and both side have so much bering noise will have to replace soon. Cornering to right now now right side noise has changed to grinding. Parked car until I can replace.
