This kit is a lot cheaper than buying glands one at a time. I only needed four and spent more on the particulars than this kit cost. I needed one more, so purchased the kit. Now I have a lifetime supply.Only detraction is the lack of rubber gasket between the gland and the panel. A spot of sealant takes care of that.

I am in complete agreement with one of the reviewers: Product appears to be well made however I would question the "water proof" description as unlike other similar products, these cable gangs do not include any thin rubber washers to insure a water tight seal with the mounting surface. I ended up making my own washer out of 1/16th thick neoprene rubber. I would have also liked to have some cable glands with a longer threaded body..

Although the overall build quality seemed good, I returned it because the length of the stub (the end that inserts through the hole in the material) was too short. I didn't measure the thickness of my material, but I think it was about ⅜ inch. Would be fine for metal or a thin material. Also, a washer was not included and I wondered about the waterproofness of the outside surface connection without a washer. The nut itself was rather thin, and unless the hole was precisely cut, seemed like it would leak around the edges.

They don't come with appropriate washers so you'll need to find something suitable or maybe glue the things in place otherwise they'll leak. That's enough to make the product description deceptive. I'd ship them back for a refund but the cost isn't worth risking death in a pandemic.

Just discovered these when I was doing some wiring on my car. These work amazing and do a great job at sealing, making wiring jobs look clean
