Dicfeos Microscope for Kids and Student, 40X-100X-250X-400X-1000X Magnification, Optics Glass Lens, Dual-Light Illumination, Extra 25X Ocular Lens and Microscope Accessories

The media could not be loaded. I bought this scope as a present for my 8 year old daughter. I wasn't sure what to expect as I have not played much with microscopes before.We are very happy with the purchase, as the quality seems very good and the scope is very easy to use. We were able to get some dirt from a little pool of water outside and see some microorganisms swimming in it (see the movie).Here's a summary of my experience so far:PROS:-Well built, optics seem pretty good, and the magnification is more than enough to see interesting stuff easily-Easy and effective illumination system, with dimmable LEDs below and above the sample area to see transparent and opaque stuff equally well-A nice set of tools to help you collect and prepare specimens-Some pre-arranged specimens to get you startedCONS:-No box to store everything, so better keep the box in which it came as it has many small pieces. A nice box in the package would be a great addition.-No easy way to connect a smartphone to take pictures and videos. I was able to take the attached movie, but a special adapter would be wonderful.-Useless manual with very little information.Overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase and I recommend this as a great starter microscope for a kid.

I got this as a gift for my 7 year old grandson. I had one when I was a kid but I’m not an expert. Both he and I spent about 15 minutes learning about all the adjustments and then it was all fun looking at the prepared slides. Once he understood that he could make his own slides he lit up again. He was running around the house looking for things to examine. It was evening and he couldn’t wait for daylight so he can find things outside. We’ll see how long his interest lasts but so far I’d say it’s a winner! Solidly built, good selection of powers, good quality glass, I like that it has dimmable lights both above and below, easy to set up and use, can use either plug in or batteries. I highly recommend.

This is a great microscope however the light went out days after opening it and the plug stopped working. It only works with a battery now. When it is working it does really well and have great visibility.

A gift to a 5 years old granddaughter. No I am not crazy 😜. Unbelievably she started using it with a little explanation. Kids are getting smart. I figured out if they are able to use an iPhone, then they should be able to learn a Microscop. Not that I am agree with a smart phone, BUT. The first Microscop I received was problematic. The light was not coming on. Called amazon right away to get a replacement. The birthday was only two days away. The transaction for the replacement was over, when all of sudden the light start working . The amazon representative told me that the proses was done already. Any way I kept the second one and returned the other. So far everything is okay and she is exited to make new slides. Definitely worth to try. Nice and heavy build. To me it’s quality is great. Specially for the price.

Me and my kids love exploring through new samples! We have seen a piece of rabbit hair, dirt, fabric, and a bug. We can’t wait to try more! It’s very interesting how zoomed in this microscope can get! It doesn’t matter what your age is, this is very fun to ease the youngest to oldest curious minds. My only complaint is the instructions are a bit illiterate or nonsensical. Other than that, it’s honestly worth getting for yourself, your kids, or as a gift! I work in a skilled nursing facility and was contemplating on taking it up there to show the residents! This would be great as a tool for teachers too!

Update: after a few weeks of usage, I found out it’s difficult to see items under higher power magnification. Still a good gift for kids, just aren’t as powerful as it promises.Birthday gift for my primary school age nephew. Pretty much the real thing, comes with sample slides, lights are great, scopes are good quality, and handling is definitely more than just a toy. Wish I had this when I was a kid.

We looked at flies, ants, wasps, bees and all kinds of leaves, stones and whatever else we could find under the microscope. It's so much fun! many 6 year old loves it. We collect items on hikes so we can check them under a microscope. it's easy to use and can be adjusted quickly. The light can be turned on under the object or over the object, which is perfect. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I bought this microscope for my niece, who is 7 years old. She likes this microscope so much. She checked different things using it, showed us what she found, and asked a lot of questions. I guess she has been learning a lot from this microscope. I am very familiar with microscopes as I worked in a biology lab. This microscope is very cute, multifunctional with a variety of accessories. A good buy!
