The Aliens Have Landed at Our School!

The frightening aspect of this book is that the aliens on the front cover look like the drawing of a real alien made on aliens and children, my site. I use it to substantiate my evidence that aliens from space are abducting children. It's really a serious book in disguise.

These are fun poems about being a kid in school, and the authors convey what kids are really thinking --- plus make it all rhyme. I read these to my son as his "extra book" when he can't fall asleep --- and then when I start reading he holds his eyes open so he can keep listening.

Not every story/poem in this book is funny but at least several are hits with my son and the kids I work with. The ones that are the funniest make it worth purchasing as the giggles that result are priceless!

My Grade 2's love it and love me reading the poems especially Mrs Stein the substitute teacher!! Here in Australia we call them relief teachers.

Kenn Nesbitt spoke at my daughter's elementary school and after that we were hooked! His subject matter is exactly what grade school kids relate too and it shows them in black and white that poetry can be funny.
