Excellent, working well.

Not noted in the ad, but nice to have, is the plug on the rear of the unit for a 5vdc adapter. This allows the hub to charge at a higher rate, power more/more powerful devices, and charge when the computer is not connected or is off. The individual switches to enable/disable individual ports is nice.

The 60 watt handles all my external drives and a bunch of other stuff. A less powerful version did not. One caveat, though: Do not run mechanical divices like fans from this or any other data device or port; they can feed odd pulses back into the system making computer fuction problematicly.

Note: If using for External Hard Drives they must Have there Own Power Supply. This Hub Cannot give a Maximum of 5 volts ant no more than a total of 900 mh. As most portable external hard drives will use most If not all of that do not use unless you can provide separate power to it. ( BTW. It's in the Discription )

I needed a multi port that could go on top of my case so I could reach it easier. This one has an ideal length cord and I liked the lights so I could easily tell which port was active. Great price too.

The ability to manage each port is a plus. I would have preferred a direct plug in as the short cable is stiff and doesn't allow great positioning for the device at my kiosk.

I have 2 of these for each of my laptops. Both work great for much needed extra usb outlets.

Still have not gotten a refund after returning item. Defective
