Don't buy toys with squeakers...read why...
I have a bunch of the Crazy Critters Dog Toys and I really like everything about them except the squeakers. It seems that virtually every dog toy company that makes toys has to put a squeaker in it. I don't know if it is because in their testing they have found that dogs go for that part first and consequently tear the toy up prematurely, thus requiring you to buy ANOTHER toy, or what the reason is. I am sure they would say, "it is because the dogs like squeaker toys". Dogs on the whole do like squeaker toys, BUT it is making the sound of a dying animal and thus encouraging prey drive in your dog. Do you really want to do that? Maybe so, if you have a hunting dog, but even then, you don't want the dog to destroy the animal you just shot for dinner or your wall.I take the squeakers out of each toy before I give it to them and they love them just as much AND the toys last quite a long time and wear out naturally and aren't being torn up 5 minutes after I give it to them.

Great toy for my heavy chewer.
My dog is a heavy chewer and it’s not often that I can find a toy that he doesn’t destroy in seconds. He loves his new “binky”. He carries it everywhere and it’s with him at night in his cage. He’s had several over the years and this is one I’ll buy again. Holds up against the daily wear and tear of his sucking and chewing, tug of war, as well as occasional hand washing in the sink when it gets too dirty. I like that the squeakers are held in place well with protective pouches which has stopped him from ripping them out. Great buy.

My boston terrier destroyed this...
My 4 y.o. Boston Terrier loves her toys, loves to destroy them. So far, she's kept one toy intact for more than a few days. This one has became a casualty, as well. Not worth the price, in my opinion. She first got the squeaker out of the tail, the ripped the raccoon's face open to get the other squeaker out. She has continued to chew off pieces of the face and has lost all interest in it. Back to my search for a toy to keep her entertained for more than a few minutes.

Got the raccoon toy several days ago and my 75 ...
Got the raccoon toy several days ago and my 75 lb lax mix has not yet been able to destroy it, which is impressive. He absolutely destroys normal stuffing-filled toys within a few hours and he's still working hard on this one. The squeakers didn't last too long (they never really do, once the dogs teeth get through them, it's game over) but he doesn't care, he just likes to chew. It's probably got 16+ hours of active chewing on it now and is still in one piece, so it gets 5 stars from me.

The only toy my dog loves.
I wish my dog didn’t love these toys so much and that they were still available at PetSmart. My only critique is that the squeekers don’t last long enough to justify the price.

Lasted longer than expected
We needed a toy that our American bulldog puppy couldn't unravel (all the rope toys we owned quickly got chewed apart by her). This toy lasted a little over a month before it got ripped apart while the dogs played tug. A great toy for the price, especially considering any holes chewed in him didn't mean stuffing all over the place!

5 years and a Chihuahua and a Chihuahua/Pug mix who play like they are Tasmanian Devils have dealt out their worst
One of the few toys I have bought that has lasted more than 2 months. After 1.5 years and a Chihuahua and a Chihuahua/Pug mix who play like they are Tasmanian Devils have dealt out their worst, I am happy to say it is still intact and one of their favorite toys! The only problem is they destroyed the squeaker in the tail. but a small problem for a pair of dogs who together chewed a Kong toy in half!

A winner!
My little shih tzu may be small in stature but her bite is razor sharp. She tears through stuffed critters like a pit bull, but these Crazy Critters stand the test of time! She loves them, and I love watching her play. They are also great for tug of war. Petsmart quit carrying them in favor of the inferior Martha Stewart brand (these are softer and do not have the annoying crunchy plastic inside) so from now on I'm buying here. Gotta love Amazon!
