fantastic monitor
Although the product was pricey, It exceeded my high expectations. Far better product than I ever thought I could get a hold of and worth every penny.In order to support the resolution capacity the nec monitor was capable of I ended up having to purchase a video card. I could have purchased a new video card for 145 dollars. Yet, due to the quality of the monitor i ended up purchasing the best video card and upgraded my power supply in order to support it. All together, an expensive investment. Nonetheless, now thats it's all up and running, would not have changed a thing about my purchase decisions.

A great professional monitor for editing, color correction and soft proofing
This is a great monitor for color correction and soft proofing. I use Spectra II software with X-Rite i1 Display and it performs a very accurate calibration. If you want to do video editing with 4k RAW footage you need a Mac Pro 2013. This monitor is on par with the new Eizo UHD monitors and cost 1/2 the price. This is a professional monitor for editing, color correction and soft proofing . It is not aimed to gamers or as a family monitor for watching movies.
