Cartier Again Shows Its Greatness
So Cartier, always one of the world's finest Jewelers, now has made a relatively affordable watch with their own, proprietary, in-house movement. And a beautiful watch it is (and I am partial to the black face). This watch now puts Cartier in the same league as Patek Philippe and Rolex. While other Cartier watches may carry ETA movements, the Calibre is driven by a mechanism designed and built by Cartier. This puts Cartier up in the rarefied air of master Jewelers that manufacture a watch from the bottom up. Bravo!
