I bought a kit for my arthritic hands and dry skin, and the wax that came with it was ok. When I decided to get more, I purchased this pack, and it is so much better! It melts nicely, is thick, smells good, and feels great - before, during, and after use. The size of the pack is a great value for the money. I think the wax will last me a while. I also really liked the form factor. It was easy to pour the little beads from the bag into the machine. It also felt kind of nice and soothing to break up the little beads with my hands, so that was a bonus!

This is a repeat order. I use this in the cold winter months to help with dry hands and sore finger joints. It is easy to use, melts to a perfect consistency and has a nice, fresh scent. The wax peals off, leaving a light moisturizing oil on my hands. I chose the cucumber, and have not tried the other scents. Arrives in one big box with 6 packets inside. I use 2 at a time for my home use. Wonderful to use.

I love the smell and the consistency. I like that it’s in small bead so it melts fast in my paraffin wax machine.

When I first bought my hand wax machine five years ago, I bought Therabath Paraffin Wax Refill to use with it. I didn't realize until recently what an excellent choice that was. I was shopping for a wax refill and couldn't find the original listing so in a hurry, bought another brand. Paraffin is paraffin, right? WRONG!!! After a several uses of the "other" brand, I was finally outdone with it's difficulty of removal, it's flaky residue after the difficult removal, and having to use a hand towel or paper towels to try and get the rest of the wax off my hands. Add to that the little flakes of residue that spread all over the counter and floor and you begin to get the picture. I finally did a more thorough search for the Therabath Paraffin Wax and found the current listing. Hooray!1. Excellent, unscented paraffin wax!2. Hydrates extremely well3. I was lucky enough to have a friend give me a wax bath she had received as a gift and never used. The supplied wax was in blocks. I used it one time in the unit, but found the wax took a very long time to melt and left a greasy feel, and did not coat well. I bought THIS wax (lavender) as a replacement. The beads melt more quickly. The fragrance is subtle, not overpowering. The wax coats my hands well and holds the heat for a good 20 minutes. The wax peels off in one piece and melts back into the unit quickly (reuse it if you are the only one using it and wash your hands before using). It leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturized, but not greasy. Best wax product I have found to date.

I bought a wax bath thing for my aching hands and it came with wax, which I thought was an improvement over some of the other items...until I opened the box. It was like their bricks of wax were each inundated with an 8oz bottle of essential oils. The smell was so bad I started sneezing immediately. My dog wouldn't come into the room and my family opened the windows to diffuse the perfume of 50 acres of straight lavender as I started to wheeze.This product smelled like vanilla, and it had a normal amount of scent. The wax beads are a vast improvement over the bricks that came with my machine. Bricks, I might add, that they want you to somehow break. (news flash, they do not break even when dropped out a second story window.) These beads poured easily into the melting bath, the smell didn't aggravate my asthma or make anybody sneeze. The bath is being used by 2 people twice a week to help counteract our super dry, over-sanitized hands, and helps ease my arthritic stiffness. It took 4 bags to fill my machine, but we added one more so that my hands would be completely submerged.When it comes time to clean out my machine and refill, I will definitely be ordering more of these.
