Not the most sturdy, but also not flimsy. Pretty decent price, and they do their job.

These are the same quality as the originals you remember and NOT one of those super-thin flimsy versions you see elsewhere on Amazon whose hinges break if you look at them wrong.

I have close to 600 CD's from the days when CD's ruled the retail physical music markets. Many (except the ones in non-jewel cases such as digi-paks etc) were scratched and cracked from years of use; in the car, moving my collection from apartment to house, and just general use. So I decided to get many of them into new jewel cases, but wanted the exact jewel case not only to bring them back to original state, but for storage purposes. I like them all to fit uniformly on my storage shelving, with clean lines and easily visible tray cards. Amazon offers soooo many different cases, and it took a long time to find these, but they are exact. Yep, they're a bit brittle like the originals; especially the hinge that separates the upper from the lower case that the CD sits in. These cases by KEYIN are an exact fit for OEM cases. Separating the tray to insert the tray card can be a bit daunting, but that's how the original cases were. I'm about halfway through my collection, so will be buying more cases in the near future. I just love these cases, and you will too.

I needed jewell cases for a home studio music project. These cases, although easlily breakable when you try to pull them apart to instert tray cards, look great and are basically sturdy and dependable. I was happy with the product

The quality of the case makes the CD's I've burned so far look professional. Currently working on copying old cassettes and vinyl record albums onto CD's-love it!
