Two of the bulbs in my new EATON security lamps cracked when I tightened down their glass buls. EATON offers no replacement bulb for this fixture. This RAB GL 100 has a 3 and 9/16" base and 6 3/4" height that fits perfectly into my fixture. This RAB bulb is heavier, thicker glass than the original bulb in my EATON fixture. The RAB replacements did not crack when I tightened them down.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Screws on in seconds. Barely costs anything. Thick and substantial clear glass. If you like the looks it's a solid gold purchase.

We got these globes and were excited because they fit the existing fixtures in our barn (other brands we tried were just off a bit). However, we have LED 100 watt bulbs in the barn and they just didn't fit into these globes. On closer inspection, we noticed that the ring where the globe screws into the fixture is just slightly angled on the inside but it was enough to cause a problem. We ended up changing several globes around so that an old (non LED) bulb could be put into these new gloves. We solved the problem now but not for the future.

Obviously a easy install, twist it on and good to go. Great fit.

I did not give this five start because it actual length was about 1/2 inch short of what they and their box says. I could not use it with my situation because it touched the bulb before I could screw it in. The half inch would have done it, I checked with measuring tape even using the start and 1 inch and subtract 1 inch where it reaches to for a correct measurement and saw the bulb was 1/2 inch short of what they say.

Seller answered two seperate questions promising this would fit like a glove with stundenglass and it was a lie. The threads are not only too big, but attaches in the opposide direction.
