The size charts are totally inaccurate: product options in Amazon show Medium as 31.5-34.5", while the official CompressionZ website show another size chart (Medium 27-30"). I decided to follow the chart on the official website and ordered a medium. I am 5'8 (173cm) 145lbs (66kg) 30" waist. As you can see from my photo, 1) it is way too long for me (I have long legs btw) and 2) there is little compression above the knees for me. Judging from the thin material, I do not think that a small would have the desirable compression effect too. One of the most disappointing purchases for me considering I trusted the high review ratings here (average 4.5/5). I really wanted to like this because I thought yes, finally a company that sells true compression wear at a reasonable price (I have worn Skins and 2XU compression shorts). But these are seriously just normal leggings/tights. Very very frustrating experience. I will be applying for a refund. Hope this helps other buyers out there.

I am a large man. I have a 52 inch waist. I bought these so I wouldn't look like a complete fool in basketball shorts riding up to my crotch while attempting to exercise in public. Needless to say, the XXXL fit about as well as you would expect, since it has a recommended width of about 38-42 maximum capacity. I managed with some effort, to get them on, ( i have a new respect for people and tight fitting panty hose) and hike them to some degree into a position that seemed slightly dignified. Never mind that the FIRST thing I said when joining a gym was that I was not going to wear yoga pants. These seemed a slightly more testosteronial embellishment, but basically I worked out one time and with no regard for said dignity, said.. " I NEED YOGA PANTS".. and bought them. When I got the teeny tiny package, I was amazed.. Seeing how condoms were able to stretch, brought to mind my current situation. It was the size of a 11 year old's waist, with looong legs. As my ladyqueen watched in utter amusement, I grunted and pulled and rolled until they were on. I will say, YES. I NOW FEEL COMPRESSED. (Though a warning to you large men of stature: If you have previously bought the office chair seat cover from china that is made of the same material, and choose to sit with these pants on, you will SLIDE TF out of the chair like rich silk on a king's bed. BE WARNED.)These pants have compressed me. They have done the job they advertised. I cannot complain about them. Even though I wish I could.

My husband loves these. I'm obsessed with my leggings and wear them every time we do something active or hike. So he decided to try them out for himself. The minute he finished his first run in them he was like "oh my god, I GET THE LEGGINGS OBSESSION." They suck you in, hold everything still, eliminate all chafing, and are comfy as hell. He wears them under his shorts whenever he works out, runs, or goes hiking. And his legs look great in them (these are the important things). They've held up fantastically thus far!

First off, these are compression clothes, if you aren’t reasonably fit for your height, BMI, then you may have a tough time getting into & out of them, especially the shirt. Consider a larger size. Overall the quality & fit is excellent. I was a little concerned that at the price point that they would not offer the compression that I was after, but that concern was unfounded.The cut, seams and fit are excellent with no binding, chafing or creeping after extended wear & vigorous activity. The shirt has a grip coating inside the bottom hem. It will stay in place on your skin or probably some other material but it doesn’t grip well to the matching bottoms. Not a problem as it will end up at your belt line and stay there. The shirt is cut long, around 4”-6” below your belt line. The breathability is exceptional, any better and you’ve have to run naked. Actually these are better than naked because they evaporate the sweat instead of it pouring off your body. If you are running or working out in front of a fan, you can feel the air against your bare skin. I’ve run several 5K’s in typical Florida heat, in both the shorts, & full length pants and of course the shirt. I opt for the long pants as they provide support for my calves and they are actually cooler due to the improved sweat evaporation than just the shorts. I’m considering going with the long sleeve shirt for the same reason.Running solitary, I wouldn’t worry too much about modesty, the bottoms do a good job keeping everything in place and smoothed. If you run an event or work out around other people, then you might want to wear some running shorts. Be sure to find the lightest, thinest, no liner, side cut shorts that you can, anything worn over (or under) will feel hot. Same if you decide to wear something over the shirt. My first time out, I wore a t-shirt which was a mistake. I won’t wear anything but the CompressionZ layer unless I need the shorts for modesty.I didn’t know quite what to expect in the way of performance but afterwards it was immediately apparent. Since I mainly wear these while running, keeping your muscles supported & keeping them from jarring/moving/flopping when they relax while your feet pound the pavement makes a tremendous difference in recovery afterwards. This was most evident in my calves. With my calve muscles slamming with each step, they’d ache for days afterwards. Keeping them supported prevents that pain and I can easily run consecutive days. The same is true for your pects, oblique back muscles, glutes etc.Overall, I’m very pleased wth the product, a few more color selections would be really nice. Since I work out every day, I reordered several more sets to get me between washings. A great value in compression wear.

I used these pants for the first time today during a 3 mile run and was very impressed! Great quality, kept me warm in 35 degree temps and were very comfortable. They fit great and were in accordance with the sizing chart and are true compression tights. I own a couple of pair of Asics running tights and a pair of Hi-Five tights and all though I like them, they cannot come close to these. The material is nice and thick but not too restrictive. For sizing: I am 6'1 and 205lbs and a large fit me perfectly. Great quality, great deal for the price. Looking forward to more colors being available (Navy, Red, Charcoal Gray).

These fit me well and don't slip off like my 2XUs do. At first I was pretty apprehensive about wearing them in public on my runs, but I quickly got over that as I look hella good in these.
